To answer the question on timing — the best months to visit Las Casas are between November and February, when it's cooler and less humid. Summer visits (March to May) can be quite hot since the area is fairly open and there's a lot of outdoor walking involved. That said, the place looks stunning year-round because of the colonial architecture and the river views.

 

For those who haven't been — Las Casas is essentially a heritage resort in Bataan that relocated and restored old Spanish-era houses. Maganda talaga ang dating ng buong lugar, parang nalipat ka bigla to another era. It's quite photogenic which is probably why a lot of couples do prenups there.

 

Anyone been to the newer side of the property? Curious if they've added more restored houses or if the tour routes have changed recently.
