the_passerby5981
Ilithyia: (about Varro) I've never seen a gladiator f*** before. Look at the way he rams her, like an enraged bull. Nakakaaliw yung "innocence" ni Ilithyia when she said this, and dun sa katuloy nung scene. LOL! Kulang nalang sabihin nya, "PA-NEXT!" I think the guys who posted before me have a point. It doesn't make much sense to call the "prequel" SPARTACUS: Gods of the Arena when it's about Batiatus. I propose, Blood and Sand: Gods of the Arena as a compromise. edit:Here's my mistake:I finished watching Game of Thrones first before beginning to watch this franchise. I loved the realism and the production of GoT. After finishing it, I began watching Spartacus and then the shift to the videogame-like gore pervading Spartacus smacks of CGI overload, but has its own virtues nonetheless. GoT is rawer. Spartacus feels gimmicky in comparison, therefore. But I'm not hating on it. How can I if it provides 19hours of entertainment? My two cents it this: If you plan to watch Game of Thrones and Spartacus, I'd say finish Spartacus first, "Blood and Sand" and then "Gods of the Arena". And then go on and watch Game of Thrones. wastedsunshine
Gustong gusto kong part sa arena kapag lumilipad yung mga ngipin ng mga gladiators. So fun! Natapos ko na Blood & Sand at Gods of the Arena, anong sunod? Si Andy Whitefield pa ba yung bida or iba na talaga? Quote Link to comment

If you weren't such a lazy ass and backread for your own good, you would have found out that Wentworth Miller better known as Michael Scofield (Prison Break) is rumored to take over the titular role. Unfortunately, Andy Whitefield has begged off the series due to very serious health concerns (diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma). Flying teeth?!! No thank you! Those fight scenes in The Pit were most uncomfortable for me. Quote Link to comment
wastedsunshine
Big muscles. Big swords. Big cod piece. Starz’ new Spartacus, Liam McIntyre, is taking to the sands and streets of Ancient Rome and EW has your first look at the escaped rebel gladiator in action. Above and below we see McIntyre crossing swords with Centurions in two fight scene photos, and then standing there just looking badass in another (Sparty basically looks like he’s saying: Hey, you, you want some of this? I mean the sword!). McIntyre will be at Comic-Con next week for the show’s panel. The series will return as Spartacus: Vengeancenext January and– You’re still reading the text? Really?
