The H2O hotel has several room types-the more popular ones being the Aquarium Room and Sea View room. The Aquarium room is named as such due to the fact that one entire wall of the room is a huge aquarium that showcases living salt water fishes of many many types -- the kind that they have in the Ocean park as well.

In totality, the aquarium actually runs on one side of the entire length of the hotel floor which allows the fishes to swim about in it whole length. I was there to inspect the hotel during their pre-opening and saw the hotels during the construction stage.

There are remote controlled blinds that rise up or goes down to cover the aquarium just in case you don't want the fish to look at you as you sleep.

The Sea View Rooms have just what their name suggests-- a good view of Manila Bay made possible by one side of the wall being made of Glass from floor to ceiling. Great view of the famous Manila Bay Sunset! Good drapes keep the heat out as the rooms do face the sun in the afternoon, though.

The hotel structure is built on Stilts above the waters so Manila Bay actually runs underneath the building. As it is, there are several bars along side that faces the bay there that serves up music and drinks.

The drawback to this property is that it lacks Triple Rooms for the Aquarium and Sea View Rooms as well as the other rooms facing the Theater where they stage the Laser show at night. The rooms are simply not built / designed for an extra bed. Perhaps one of the larger suites may be able to have those but they are very limited. For those wondering what this laser show is--it is the same show as the one they have in Sentosa in Singapore called Song Of the Sea.

On the plus side, the hotel does have beautiful rooms and the Bathroom facilities are frist rate. A good case of you get what you pay for since this hotel is not exactly for those travelers who worry about costs.

They also a good restaurant called Makan Sutra which serves excellent Malay and Singaporean cuisine.

We have very good rates for this Hotel as they part of our Inbound-Manila Tour Program.
