Rizalbraders
bought a ranger last 2009, still using it up to this day regular maintenance lang since luma, imagine 13 year old vehicle na, syempre labasan na din. but i'm still going to keep it ksi more of into motorcycle ako. back up lang talaga ung ranger bought an everest 2019, sobra baba ng odometer. pandemic up to now, hindi halos nagagamit. same with van, hindi rin nagagamit. because of pandemic, naging less ang bakasyon. more of, staycation sa hotel within manila. overall, happy naman ako sa Ford. balita ko lang, never really experienced it myself, ung mga ford na sedan ang may concern pagdating sa transmission Quote Link to comment

Common problems are suspension, bushings, anything electrical, brakes, rods, rubber seals and the list goes on and on. If you join any of the facebook ford groups most of the posts you will see are about issues rather than owners enjoying their rides. Sadly this is very much true. Somebody recently offered me a secondhand Explorer and Focus so I did my homework and began reading on Ford FB car groups. As it turns out, the horror stories are true. To be fair, most owners acknowledge that Ford vehicles are really exceptional when it comes to tech features and driving dynamics. Unfortunately, the stress and inconvenience due to unreliability is just too much to ignore. Quote Link to comment

Bigreddot
Ford _ never again hahaha. Mga naging sakit sa ulo ko sa Ford - rack and pinion broke immediately after warranty, ABS module kaput, ECU dead, catalytic converters broke, plus mahina pangilalim kaya naka ilang palit na din ng upper/lower arm sus, shocks and shock mount. Tarug
The first car that I actually owned was a 1st gen Ford Everest way back in 2004. It was a manual 4WD with a 2.5 Liter Turbocharged diesel engine. Not the fastest nor the the most luxurious drive. But it was reliable and a workhorse. Previous to that I was usually assigned a company car service. So when I had the option to upgrade and own my assigned vehicle, I opted for a 4WD SUV that fits the budget given. It was a workhorse and never did give me any problems. It actually got me out of some sticky situations a couple of times (ie. a friends BMW 3 got stuck in sand and I pulled him out, another instance was it got us safely out of a muddy farm). The only thing that gave out in the end was the turbo unit which started leaking. Aside from that, it literally brought me all over Luzon. I was so sad to finally let it go. One day, maybe I'll get a chance to get it back. Quote Link to comment
