if you’re arguing from a perspective of faith- god has no morality; to imply so constrains and diminishes the nature of his divinity.

but if you’re talking about the concept of “morality” he imposes on us- then that’s a different topic altogether.

there is such a thing as “natural law theory” which posits that the nature of man intrinsically entails certain responsibilities to oneself and others around us.

arguments have been made that this is the “morality” god has set on us- while others contend that no god was ever involved in the development of this “natural law” and that’s just the innate nature of humanity.
