religion is not something to be forced on a child; rather it’s something they have to come to- all you can do is maybe guide them, but at the end of the day, they would have to choose the path they walk. 

all you can really cling to are the prayers you sing to your god, and the hope you raised you child the best you could and have equipped them with enough of whatever they need in preparation for this journey,
