Agent_mulder
Aside from the usual driver's license, SSS ID, bills, credit cards and even picture of the missus and/or gf, we also tend to put piece of papers (and even sim cards) inside our wallet. In my case, I removed the government issued ID's (i.e. driver's license, SSS, TIN) as these are thick and just remembered their respective numbers (well except for the driver's license no.). I also don' put coins in my wallet as it not only thicken but also make it a lot heavier, I put the smaller bills (20's and 50's) and coins in a purse which also double as my case for my cellphone.... test1985
Here are some of my rules on wallets:1. Never put coins in your wallet. buy a separate coin purse if you have to.2. Don't put membership cards inside the wallet. e.g. national bookstore, etc.3. Put only cash, credit cards, ATMs, credit card receipts in your wallet.4. Don't put calling cards in your wallet. (they look cheap) Buy a separate card holder if you have to.5. Get a classy leather bag and put your wallet inside. (optional) Quote Link to comment
maniaclara
my wallet gets fat only when i have a lot of money (which is always good, right?) or when i have a lot of receipts and papers.i guess the answer there would be to spend the money or to take out the trash. Quote Link to comment
sfstudmuffin
I think receipts are the major reason wallets go fat...so I empty my wallet of receipts everyday....just carry 1 or 2 CC, atm, and enough cash for the day. Quote Link to comment
StawAwayManiacs
I don't really use a wallet. More of a small purse. I can fit my money, coins, important cards, some receipts, my internet banking device, and a bottle opener. Seriously. haha Quote Link to comment
heartless86
i switched from a traditional wallet and now just use a card holder. i only carry 1 atm card, 1 credit card, 1 id, and i clip my cash in a money clip. Quote Link to comment
ambidextrous00
im soo guilty of this hahaha. im so old school, i keep pictures in my wallet. cards and IDs. and my guitar pick collection....can you imagine i have a huge wallet anyway so i guess its cool. i keep a purse, i keep my "allowance" there. i only keep big bills on my wallet. minimizes the need to arrange things in my wallet. receipts dont pile up inside cause i dont put anything else in there hahahaha Quote Link to comment

snoopy/woodstock
over the weekend i usually take out all the receipts or items that shouldn't be in the wallet. and the smaller bills like 20s and 50s that accumulated during the week, i distribute it to my kids as their allowance to the coming week. Ergonomic
I noticed that all my colleagues who are of advanced age have very thick wallets bulging out of their back pockets. Hmmm, is age proportionate to the thickness of one's wallet. I hope not since I'm almost nearing the magic 40 mark. Quote Link to comment

Hmmm, is age proportionate to the thickness of one's wallet. I hope not since I'm almost nearing the magic 40 mark. Pansin ko nga ito sa mga uncles ko. Their wallets look like McDonald's Quarter Pounders when viewed sideways. I hate the thick wallet syndrome (well, unless all the thickness is derived from money). Pero indi eh, it's credit card + Shell Fleet card + ATM card + driver's license + Mercury Drug Suki Card & other loyalty cards that I use on a regular basis. Indi ko na nga dinadala yung mga motel discount cards sa wallet, pero kumakapal pa din over time. Quote Link to comment
