As expected/predicted talo sa Taipei by 11 points...tabla pa by the 3rd quarter, but bumitaw sa last quarter.

 

Low outside shooting percentage did them in...sayang they played with a lot of grit

But if you look it on the bright side, its a good sign that our boys never back down. Usually kapag cadets konti na ang lamang ng kalaban by 20-points. See this, this is our cadet meaning 'bagito' samantalang mga kalaban nila mga Pro and National Player for their respective nations for so many years.

 

 

It's ok to lose in this tournament by a close margin, it's a learning experience. SBP had put trust on this cadets and hoping for the brighter future.

Dapat si Chot na lang ang coach ng Ateneo tutal Atenista naman siya. Dapat pinabayaan niya ang Gilas kay Tab. But then again, to be fair to Chot, he was the one at the helm when we got a ticket to the FIBA-Worlds.

Apart from the 12 Gilas cadets now playing the league, each teams will be releasing to the national pool a player deemed by coach Chot Reyes as necessary to suit up for the Philippine team.

The MoA was signed at the Marco Polo Hotel in the presence of SBP president Al Panlilio, league commissioner Chito Narvasa, and the entire PBA board led by chairman Mikee Romero.

surprising names are LA Revilla, Norbert Torres and Bradwyn Guinto.

 

Im sure shoo-ins na mga to:

 

C- Junmar

PF - Japhet

SF - Abueva

SG - Romeo

PG - Lee

 

The remaining 7 slots na lang i think ang paglalabanan as supporting cast

 

I hope Parks Jr, Kobe Paras and JClarkson will be included in future lineup (hanggang World Cup)

i think belo should also be a shoo-in. also si blatche ba kukunin pa? wala yatang balita sa naturalized player. it would be nice to see parks, paras, ravena and clarkson playing for gilas. Edited January 24, 2017 by *badass*
