We badly need the presence of fajardo and japeth to guard the 7 footer of other teams. Blatch cannot do it alone. We also need LA or Paul Lee for the PG position since we only have one legit PG. We also need jeff chan to be one of our shooter. Sadly it's vested interests vs national interests at play here. junix Posted October 4, 2015 Share Posted October 4, 2015 I think the gun will be fully loaded in the Olympic qualifiers with Clarkson, Fajardo and Slaughter coming aboard. The question is: Will that fully-loaded gun be enough to catapult us to the Olympics? We need all the big guys we can get because the teams we will potentially face have big guys that are skilled like Radulica of Serbia, Borousis of Greece and Gobert of France who is one of the leading shot-blockers in the NBA. Not to mention Olynyk of Canada who has 3-point range and has a decent post game. obviously it will be an uphill battle with only 3 slots available. but i still believe...with the right tools, proper training and of course, the right calls, we can always give it our best shot and pray for the best. Just because Castro is overwhelmingly better than him doesn't mean he should be put as the best shooting guard just to make China look like an Asian dream team. Siguro sa Iron Chef, puede sila ni Zhou at Guo isali. Also, it should have been Haddadi as the mythical 5 center and not Zhou Qi. Yi Jianlian is the only Chinese who deserves that spot in the FIBA mythical team.i agree...3 of the 5 are chinese? overcooked na talaga...sobrang itim na nga sa pagkaka-ihaw nyahahaha mas magaling pa nga yung joji takeuchi kaysa dun sa qi...matangkad lang yung intsik. junix Posted October 4, 2015 Share Posted October 4, 2015 I think we can handle the African teams, New Zealand, Iran and Japan. It's the European teams that are of utmost concern. However, in order to qualify, we should beat one of them granting that there should be, at least, one European team per group. In order to beat that European team, we should have a fully-loaded squad coupled with a near-perfect, if not perfect game. Among the European teams, I feel that it is Greece that we have a chance against. I think Slaughter or Fajardo could match-up well with Borousis. Clarkson will definitely hold his own against Calathes. Blatche will dominate his match-up with Printezis. Lastly, I truly believe Castro will dominate his match-up against Spanoulis. The only advantage they will have will be Antetekoumpo. Sunog na ba? Hindi na puedeng kainin. Yes, I agree Takeuchi is better than Zhuo Qi. Takeuchi has range and has a finesse game.i was impressed with this takeuchi. may tira sa labas pati sa tres and he can also play inside. yung qi matangkad lang pero pag nakakuha yan ng katapat niyang matangkad at malaki ang katawan, babalibag sa sahig yan. there was an instance last night na sinabayan siya ni calvin...butata at bagsak kaso tinawagan ng foul si calvin. oh yes chief...sunog na sunog...mapait na ngang kainin hahaha Quote Link to comment

Kita nyo nung 2013 fiba asia na ginanap dito sa manila pinataob sila ng taiwan, hindi man lang sila nakapasok sa top 4 kaya nga hayok sa paghabol ng homecourt yang mga yan. kinuha nila yung paghost ng 2015 fiba asia dahil desperado sila makapasok sa olympics kaya pati mga pandaraya nagagawa nila.
