Agent_mulder
Tatambakan talaga ang China doon at swerte na kung manalo ng 1 o 2 game/s pero 'yung experience na makukuha nila there in playing against much taller, heftier and rugged/physical players will be to their advantage come FIBA World Cup time. Ok nga din sana kung sumali sila sa Jones Cup. Edited July 15, 2019 by Agent_mulder Quote Link to comment
Chippy23
Sana sinama na lang si Blatche sa Jones Cup lineup for conditioning. Iba pa rin may active competition instead of team practice lang. Quote Link to comment

Eh for sure sobrang mahal ng tickets sa ganyan..Sobrang mabibilib na talaga ako kapag natalo pa ng south korea itong Mighty Sports Quote Link to comment

Soraoi_empire
Yup. Shooting, speed, passing at discipline basketball talaga laro nila. 1 Quote Link to comment

will robie
A lot of NBA stars are skipping this year's FIBA-Worlds. This gives hope to other teams like Espana, France and Serbia. The Philippines will have to be focused against Serbia who is led by the Joker. Although the level that the Joker will play with may not be the same level as when he is with the Nuggets since this is the off season, he is still an All NBA First Teamer and Blatche should be the best version of Batman that he can be in order for the Philippines to have a puncher's chance against Serbia. I remember back in 2014, I thought we didn't have a prayer against Croatia but when we played the Croatians. we almost beat them. The Serbians may have the best center in the NBA but the ball is round and anything can happen. Quote Link to comment
*kalel*
Tough task... top 2 will advance... beating italy will be the key Quote Link to comment
will robie
Gilas just beat the original home country of Serge Ibaka, Congo in a tune up game. Next is another African opponent, Cote d' Ivoire. Edited August 7, 2019 by will robie Quote Link to comment
will robie
Gilas is now 2 of 2 against African teams. Blatche has been impressive. Again, we need the best "Batman" that Blatche can be against "Joker". Quote Link to comment

will robie
I am hoping for a second-round appearance by Gilas. Serbia will be a daunting challenge but that was what I said about Croatia a couple of years back and we almost beat them. Between Serbia and Italy, we have a better chance of beating Italy and I am basing this on the players available for both teams. I don't know if both Serbia and Italy will be complacent when we play them. Unlike before, Gilas will be facing an All-NBA First Teamer in the Joker. If I were Yeng, I would concentrate on neutralizing the three NBA players Serbia will parade and let the others beat us. Edited August 15, 2019 by will robie 1 Quote Link to comment
RED2018
One thing going against this Yeng Guiao's Gilas, is that there is no more 'mystery' as to our national team's capability (scouted na tayo) ; unlike nung time nila Alapag n Pingris Quote Link to comment
