hannibal smith Posted July 7, 2016 Share Posted July 7, 2016 if you watched the game live, i was really annoyed with the emcee who was trying hard to hype the crowd. trying hard... as in trying hard siya tapos iiling-iling pagkatapos nya magsalita... wtf? ang akala niya siguro he was trying to hype a crown in a club... nawawala yung momentum ng crowd when he interrupts the chants... mas maganda spontaneous yung collective chant ng crowd... how can you expect the crowd to say giiiiiiiiiiiiiilas pilipiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinas kung siya mismo sounded like he did not believe that we were gonna win... tinagalog na lang dapat ... so we could have rallied the team and we could have made much more of an impact... i could not help myself but shout at him (maybe because of my frustration during the game) comment about the games... i think we could have won at least one game with the system of coach chot... i think coach tab did his best to make his system work... kaso i think he is more used to a system with players with a different skill set... i really think that we should let a pinoy coach take over the national team ... if a foreign coach is necessary, we can make him an assistant coach... aside from the crowd, the coach is your rah rah guy... he gets into your head and motivates you to play for the country, the pinoys worldwide, and tells you to play the pinoy way... to play smart and play with heart... another chapter ends for philippine basketball back to the drawing board... Anyway malamang, palit na naman ng Coach yan next tournament... mag train na lang ng amateurs ulit, iba pa din laro ng PBA players natin, masyado maingat, hinihintay ang bola na bumagsak sa kamay nila, limited gumalaw, larong mayaman pa din, mga takot ma injury dahil may mga live contract sila with their mother teams. si Blatche lang ang napansin ko na buwis buhay maglaro last two games against France and NZ. *badass* Posted July 7, 2016 Share Posted July 7, 2016 it's still my opinion that if abueva was with gilas 4.0, he would've made a difference. isa ito sa mga magpapakamatay para sa bayan. tama yung mga posts...yung mga players ng gilas nag-iingat kasi may mga kontrata. imho the best way to form a competitive philippine team is to pool all amateur standouts to be sponsored by someone outside of the pba, train and send them to international tournaments to build chemistry. pag pba player kasi, chances are, ang priority niyan yung career nya sa pba. Agree 2 more stint muna....romeo medyo inconsistent shooting....pero dapat shoo-in na si romeo sa gilas para magdevelop tulad kay castro...nde pwedeng puros PBA nde magimprove.... mike jones Posted July 8, 2016 Share Posted July 8, 2016 lumabas ang layo ng talent at maturity ng mga players sa mga laban ng gilas...yes we have PUSO... but we still need to work hard for our SKILLS... at dapat may DISKARTE...Si Romeo naman, he has a bunch of skills in dribbling...But when he took his shots, di na sumasabay ang kalaban halos dahil out of balance at walang rhythm....Sana sa mga susunod na trainings, nandyan na ung mga youngbloods.. paras, ravena, and others...Isali na sila sa program para mas mahaba ang experience Quote Link to comment
