Flash Sentry
WD 1TB ko grabe hindi umabot ng 3yrs..di ko naman nalaglag pero minsan nadisconnect ko siya without safely remove..ayun sira na siya ngayon Di nakayanan ng disc repair? Ni minsan I never use the safely remove drive thing, whether for USB drive, external drive, peripherals, etc. Never experienced anything actually die on me. Nagkaroon lang ako ng minor scare last May nung di ma detect ng PC ko yung external HDD but then nakuha siya ng disc repair and now wala ng issue. Quote Link to comment
Toobadz
Its always better to safely remove your HD rather than just pull it out. It will be currupted when you unplug it it was still being accessed by your computer. If you do not want to safely remove you can turn your computer off once its off you can pull the hd out as you are sure its not being accessed anymore. One fix for corrupted HD that cannot be repaired anymore is to place it in a zip lock then put it in the freezer overnight make sure the zip lock is sealed so no water might come inside your hd. Then remove from freezer and zip lock connect to pc then if you are able to access it copy everything as you might not be able to access it after this. Quote Link to comment
