For me, it would be Ninja Gaiden Sigma & Devil May Cry 3. So far those games would make me want to throw the controller with their almost insane difficulty.

I loved Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition. Clearing stages with SS rank on Dante Must Die difficulty is the difficult part.
