jetrink
anyone interested in a group trip to KK? The mud volcano looks fun: http://images.travelpod.com/users/chelsina/sabah_2007.1190009460.p9070075.jpg I know it's OT, but the girl on the right has humongous tits. :-) Will try to plan a visit by next year. SANOOOoooK
I had my trip here last year.. i would probably say that "mount kinabalu climb" should be in you #1 iternerary. it was such a great experience! #2 Take a train ride via the well-preserved Borneo Express. #3 3-day Camp at the Kinabatangan Nature Park to see the Proboscis monkeys. #4 island hopping to manukan, mammutik and gaya island #5 shopping in Labuan Island ( 1 1/2 hour ferry ride from KK) this is a duty free island so goods are mostly cheap. You can also visit Brunei, it will only take u 20 minutes to reach Brunei from labuan There is an excellent pinoy band performing in Shinanigans Bar in HYATT Kinabalu.. Clubs and Bars are mostly located at the waterfront. There is a regular sunday market along the streets of Gaya. Name the stuff u want and they have it. Check out Lucy's Bed and Breakfast along Australia Place in KK. Happy Trip!!! 1 Quote Link to comment

Went here back in 2012, total cost for the hike with transport, lodging at inn with food, porter etc etc was less than 10k. Wanted to go back and checked the prices it’s 30-40kphp per head now. It’s wild that the price went up so much. Quote Link to comment
rote1
Love the kopitian (food court) food in Malaysian Borneo. They have spices and herbs unique to the island like some varieties of pepper and ginger. Also tried "ulam" which I thought was just one species but is apparently a mix of foraged edible plants Quote Link to comment
