maldita_overload Posted February 5, 2014 Share Posted February 5, 2014 There are a lot of stories behind why market trends are referred to as either bullish or bearish, but my favorite one would be this: A bull generally fights by thrusting its horns upwards, and bears generally strike their opponents down. The terms therefore, have something to do with how the animals attack an opponent - upward or downward. The movements, then, were related to market trending.
