bubuy Posted October 16, 2009 Share Posted October 16, 2009 (edited) as long as minny has his rights, the fantasy team that drafts him has his rights too.. can also be put this way: if he is able to re-enter the nba rookie draft in any year or becomes a FA, the fantasy team that drafts him loses his rights.. In any instance that a rookie doesn't play a single NBA game in the year he was drafted, the fantasy team that drafted him will retain his rights through the following seasons until the said player plays his first NBA game.5.iii A GM will have EXCLUSIVE rights to his:a. 1st rd pick - first full season (GM has to put the player in the K10 the following season or the player becomes an FA)b. 2nd rd pick - first season and a half (GM has to promote the player before the first game after the ASB of the sophomore year or the player becomes an FA) di ba contradictory yung highlighted? need some enlightenment! thanks! =======EDITOK Bubs! Commish.. sensya na.may nangyari pong trade na hindi nalagay sa official rosters.confirmed yan actually by both parties.i just remembered that i traded Diaw in this league. thing is, i have to change something in our k-7..anyway, si wilson chandler lang naman ang change instead of diaw/stuckey.stuckey will remain with the A Jr Expansion fantasy team. haha.. sorry din to my co-GM TripleDouble. So, my thinking is to keep the present rosters intact regardless of the trade. Dapat kasi naisama na sa K7 ang players involved sa trade. Mas alam n'yo kasi ang nangyari sa teams ninyo thru trades kesa akin na bago lang commish dito. GMs, what's your take on this? If the expansion teams have no problem with the move, I'm ok with it. gheromeWho will you drop so I can move Diaw to your team? Since Wilson Chandler was not drafted by the expansion teams, I can move him to Twin Bee....IF gherome drops a player AND no expansion team complains. Quote Link to comment

Now, kville wants to move Diaw to gherome (to reflect the trade) and get Chandler from the FA pool (so he will have seven players). To put Diaw in gherome's team, gherome will have to drop a keeper player who could have been drafted in the expansion draft. I suppose it's the expansion teams who will be prejudiced for having been deprived of a chance to draft the player whom gherome should have dropped to accomodate Diaw.
