Silver Bullet
I've been patronizing HMR Phils. Pioneer branch for quite some time, however lately my experience is really irritating. Last May a male salesperson is very rude to me when I was buying a grass cutter, he snickers and grabbed a grass cutter unit I was buying and told me his customer will be purchasing that particular last unit, wherein his customer is supposed to be a big time company bus transport owner. That customer of his saw me carrying the unit first and I overhead them talking what is the item I was holding, they were in fact discussing about a chainsaw and his customer got intrigued with my item. Last Saturday before Father's Day, I bought an item which was supposed to be my gift for my Dad who is a hobbyist, and needs this item. I paid for it in full, and told the salesperson I will come back the next day to pick it up since my vehicle cannot fit the item I purchased. Next day the the item is missing after pressuring them, the item appeared, but the item was fit straight to the junk shop,I told them that is not the condition I paid for. The salesperson admitted that it really looks different and probably it was switched with another item. I talked to the manager Mr. De la Cruz, and he told me it a customer might have switched the item, since it was the last item, he offered me to wiat for other deliveries and I need to call them from time to time, this guy didn't even asked my contact info,I called evry day after that day and charges to my cellphone was a waste, either their line just keeps on ringing, or the manager higher than Mr. De la Cruz is out of her office, the best part is Mr De la Cruz actually promised me that Moday there would be a delivery, I wasn't able to talk to him on the phone but other salesperson told me there is no deliveries yet and they don't know when there will be one. I faxed a letter of complaint to them with my contact number yesterday afternoon and will wait for their response, my phone never received a call from them and they were open till 7pm. Hoping they call me today. :thumbsdownsmiley: Quote Link to comment
ElRey
this place is a total rip off, don't even think you're getting deals here, mas mahal pa sa brand new.. sometimes you'll find some "hard to find" Costco items that might be interesting, or some junk useful to some, but all in all, this place is a total rip-off Quote Link to comment
Guest Leviticus
2 traits:1. you get what you paid for2. you should know how to look at the item you are getting. I've purchased computer sets from HMR for a couple of years now. mga branded surplus computers kasi (DELL, compaq, acer, IBM, etc). mga branded kasi and hindi yung tipong "chop-chop" units. 3 years ko na ginagamit mga units and still running. only hitch is the mouse but we all know disposable ang mga eto. oo nga pala, don't buy the furniture sets, chairs, and tables. masmaganda ang bago kaysa surplus dito. EDIT: pahabol. I can refer you to one of the salesladies in HMR. maalaga naman eto as compared to the others who are rude. text ka lang and hahanapan ka ng magandang items, irereserve nya. believe me, nakilala ko siya by trial and error. PM me if you're interested at her number Edited June 21, 2008 by Leviticus Quote Link to comment
rayt64
I always do window shopping on almost anything so I know the prices. I observed that HMR is overpriced considering that most of the items were used or surplus items. There were those that were more expensive than brand new items in the malls. Quote Link to comment
discoduck34567
yeah you get what you pay for talaga, but they are a good place to sell company surplus Quote Link to comment
J.A.S.O.N
maybe it depends on the item being sold Quote Link to comment
