Bugatti Veyron
The worst punishment I ever received (it wasn't my fault) was when the math teacher threw a hard-bound math book at my classmate who was misbehaving. It missed him but hit me instead at the back of my ear. That was almost a half century ago but I'll never forget that pain. The teacher apologized to me immediately but that was small consolation for the pain inflicted. Â Back then, such behavior by teachers was acceptable. Corporal punishment like getting hit with a long stick on the ass by the principal for getting a "C" in conduct was expected. Some teachers used to punch their students in the chest. Others just kicked the sh%t out of noisy students. Â I'd also like to point out that my former classmates and I turned out all right despite being punished physically. And during that period in history, there were no senseless shootings in schools like there are today, particularly in the USA. Seems when corporal punishment was outlawed, kids just went out of control. The correlation may be flawed, but that's just my opinion. Quote Link to comment

To which the principal said "I know." Quote Link to comment

maxiev
I had to write 500 times, "I will not talk when the teacher is talking." Too bad there were no word processors (much less computers) back then. It would have been just a matter of copying and pasting the words and printing these out. Wouldn't have spent more than 5 minutes doing this exercise. Quote Link to comment

LBJ
It was during my 2nd year HS, my teacher caught me handing out something to my classmate who was seated in front of me. She asked me what was it, and I told her it was nothing. She said I made a fool out of her and was asked to go out and see her after class. But I didn't for I was afraid to do so. She got mad and demanded to bring my parents to see her before accepting me back to class. And so I did. Btw, she happens to be my Religion teacher. Quote Link to comment
jetoption
I had to rewrite all the notes for the day 5 times in my notebook. This was in college, at a well-known Catholic University. My professor was a Spanish priest. Quote Link to comment

pipeds
Worst punishment? Hmmm... well, it only happened in elementary since I am studying in a public school. Anyone who is too noisy or breaks the rule will get hit by a stick either on the back of your legs or on your palms. I never knew that that was illegal so I didn't report it to the principal nor to my parents. Quote Link to comment
