From the name itself small island lang talaga pero white sand.

I toured the whole island. Maganda naman.

Dami ding turistas.

Ganda ng corals.

May mga vendors sa paligid.

baka na chambahan nyo lang po na madami jellyfish nung time na iyon

ilang beses na ako nagpupunta duon di ko na encounter yung makati ang tubig

summer po kasi kaya madami jellyfish...magdala ng tent at pagkain (tubig na rin) mas masaya overnight

went there end of May 2008. Since summer pa, daming tao during weekend and majority are backpackers. But you can find your own private area pa rin naman around the island.

 

Potipot is in candelaria, Zambales..about 6 hrs trip from manila.. so if ur driving, you might as well take a second thought about bring your car... Victory Liners pass thru the candelaria since this town nearest to potipot island.

 

Bring every thing you need when going to the island since there is no store or any establishment in the island except for the caretakers place ( i dont know if they sell anything of use).

went here on the day that bagyong cosme hit the area.. was hell nung gabi... halos liparin ung bobong ng nirent naming place... buti semento ung foundation.. basa lahat ng gamit namin.. ung salamin ng van ko basag.. was a realy well planed vacation 1month in prep naunsyami lang dahil sa bagyo.. any ways.. was a great experience.. hehehehe.. pero the day after the skies cleared and the waves calmed.. parang walang baryo nung gabi.. so we were able to go to the island.. btw may na stucked sa island the night of the storm poor guys buti may mga caretakers na kunupkup cla dun.. the sand was good the water was kinda murky beacause of the storm... dahil sa bagyo nung gabi di kami lahat nag sun block... alam na kung ano ano na ngyari... sunog kami lahat...

hahaha.. sarap!!!!

if you want to go island hopping try to see the islands at San Antonio, Zambales

I've been there recently. The water is clear, the sand is fine. You can stay there overnight, they have small bahay kubo for rent but the problem is electricity.

5 minutes away lang naman 'to from the Candelaria shore. dun may mga accommodation if you're not used to sleeping on a tent or in a kubo without electricity. super liit na island lang ito, 30mins lang libot mo na yung island.
