I dont think papayagan naman ni kume yan...just like yun chris paul to lakers sana....nde yan maaprove....

Tska bakit gustong kunin si abueva...samantalang mas ok na itrade nalang yun mga assets para tumaas sa pick at makakuha ng bata at magaling na players pa...the draft has alot of potential good players...dont tell me mas ok pa makuha si abueva kesa makuha si rosario or kahit manlang si AVO? Si semerad bigyan lang ng playing time...parang abueva na din eh....overhyped lang si abueva...daming kalokohan sa court para magpapansin lang...pero in fairness to abueva...he is a good player with high motor and good basketball IQ...pero dun nako sa matangkad, with good motor plus high basketball IQ nlang

diva boys will have to accept the fact that tim cone will now be calling the shots and that there will be no place for their brand of play. gone will be the run and gun where greg and japeth's strengths were never maximized.

Ginebra guard LA Tenorio begs off from Gilas pool citing fatigue, poor form
Read more at http://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/news/la-tenorio-begs-off-from-joining-gilas-team-t#sOKcosRdvt3twmmU.99

If this is for the good of the team and the country - i support you.

“One factor that came out is `yung dire-diretso `yung paglalaro ko. Yung fatigue factor, hindi na rin naman ako bumabata,” said the 31-year-old Tenorio during the same interview.

Tenorio has not had a major break during the off season since being named as part of Gilas in 2012 when it won the Jones Cup. A year later, he saw action for the team in the Fiba-Asia tilt held here in Manila, and then went on to suit up in the 2014 FIBA World Cup in Spain.

At the same time, Tenorio also stressed he won’t be fair to Ginebra if he plays for Gilas and then see action for the Kings not 100 percent prepare for the new season.

“Pag bumalik naman ako sa Ginebra, October na, start na ng season. Baka hindi na rin naman ako magin effective sa team, so in the end, sila (Kings) naman ang masa-sacrifice,” the veteran point guard out of Ateneo added.

OT: An Article about MVP Team's kaswapangan (desperation)

THE PBA SHOULD PUT ITS FOOT DOWN ON THE REPORTED TNT-KIA DEAL

The Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters, the flagship team of the MVP Group in the PBA, is on the prowl once again searching for its next victim. And it looks like it has found its target, and a willing one at that.

Still not satisfied after ‘raping’ expansion team Blackwater Elite, the Tropang Texters have now set its sights on the Elite’s batchmate, the KIA Carnival – set to be renamed as the Mahindra Enforcers effective PBA Season 41.

This time though, they’re not only targetting the expansions team’s 2015 first round pick, they’re going after KIA’s 2016 first round pick as well.

Terms of the deal (as reported by SPIN.ph‘s Snow Badua), are as follows: The first part would have TNT sending Kevin Alas to KIA for the latter’s 2015 1st round draft pick. KIA would then send Alas over to the NLEX Road Warriors for Aldrech Ramos and possibly Jonas Villanueva. The second part is just a straight swap between Ranidel de Ocampo and KIA’s 2016 first round pick.

Talk ‘N Text would end up with KIA’s 2015 & 2016 first round draft picks, while the expansion team would settle for Aldrech Ramos, Ranidel de Ocampo and possibly Jonas Villanueva.

If you’re thinking that this deal is just plain *bullshit*, don’t worry because you’re not alone.

Why would KIA throw away the chance to have Troy Rosario and Keifer Ravena on their team? Same reason as to why Blackwater threw away its opportunity to bag Moala Tautuaa. For the love of money, plain and simple.

The TNT-KIA deal doesn’t actually look as bad as it sounds, especially when you consider the Moala Tautuaa for Larry Rodriguez scam that the Tropang Texters just pulled off. But the point of the matter is, why would KIA do it in the first place? They don’t need it! The 2015 and 2016 PBA Rookie Draft classes are bound to be rich and oozing with talent, perfect building blocks for the expansion teams who were unable to get concessions upon their entry to the big league. This should have been the start of their uphill climb towards competitiveness.

Between the two expansion teams, it was KIA who had a promising rookie season. No thanks to the presence of Manny Pacquiao and their choice of imports. But they have to drastically improve their roster if they want to finish higher in the standings. And it should start now, with the 2015 PBA Rookie Draft. Forget about Alas, Troy Rosario is definitely more promising and could make an immediate impact on a team full of discards. Forget about Ranidel as well, Keifer is a rare breed of talent and signing him is comparable to winning the P150 million lottery.

Going back to Blackwater. If they were really serious (as claimed by the owner) in their intention of forming a fighting team for next season, then they shouldn’t have traded their first pick in the 2015 PBA Rookie Draft. Any person with common sense would know that. No amount of explaining from Dioceldo Sy will cut it, that deal with TNT is tainted with money and/or business no matter what angle you look at it. It wasn’t a trade between two basketball teams, it was a deal between two shady business groups.

And guess what, just recently the Blackwater team owner came up with a statement (published in InterAksyon.com) saying “The PBA should allow Blackwater and Kia to strengthen their team muna. Otherwise, too much lopsided games will k*ll the PBA.” Wow! Really? My initial reaction was, is this guy high on drugs? You just ‘gave’ away your very valuable first round pick and you have the nerve to come up with that a statement like that. Are you mentally sick or what?

Anyway, for reasons only the PBA know, that deal was approved no matter how stupid and lopsided it was, end of story. Not! The ‘desperate’ team is back and is now salivating over the other expansion team’s ‘assets’.

As fans we all know that there’s nothing we could do once these giant PBA corporations go inside their boardrooms and talk business. After all, gone are the days when PBA teams are average companies just wanting to promote the sport of basketball through the PBA. Now, its top companies wanting to promote their products and services through the PBA, with sports just as a mere backdrop.

The PBA should stop this reported TNT-KIA blockbuster deal from ever happening. If ever it pushes through and trade papers have been submitted, Commissioner Salud should veto it. KIA obviously doesn’t need it, so did Blackwater but we can’t do anything about it anymore. But we can still save KIA, and we can still protect the integrity and credibility of the PBA (well, if ever it has any left).

This is not good for the league, anyway you look at it. It will benefit one group alone, and leave the other in the dark. The PBA should save the expansion teams from themselves, and put the greedy ones in their proper place. – Alvin Fadul
