Just sharing lang................... Francis Arnaiz: "I was not like Sonny (Jaworski) while I was still playing basketball in the PBA. I took so many things and people for granted. Despite my career records and many championships, I never tried to be the best I could be. I never gave the game my all. And that is so sad. Looking back, I realize today that championships, trophies, achievements, and records are all so temporary. Sooner or later, someone else or another team will win the same championships, break those records and win the same trophies. They are never permanent. Ultimately, what no one can take away from you is when you can say to yourself at the end of the day, win or lose that 'I did my best.'"

Amen.

I watched the reply at youtube kanina, happy at panalo tayo, and I have to agree, I think we got lucky that yap missed the three pointer, he is way taller for monfort, as well as hinde na maximize nila barroca ung mismatch. :)

2 more games! sana Rain or shine makatapat naten!

Wag rain or shine....kung nagcocomplain kayo how inneffective si japhet dito sa series...much more with ROS...magaling magbantay yun extra rice inc ....alam nila pano bantayan si japhet...dagdag mo pa yun coach nila na mas magaling na naman kay ato....tgnan mo nga walang magawa si abanilla kahit thrown out na si guiao eh

Petron on the other hand...wala silang pantapat kay japhet...nde kaya ni arwind si japhet...more si danny seigle...match lang din sa coaching capabilities...ato vs abanilla

Imagine coach ni jawo during his college days at U.E.

yan nga ang image sa isip ko, the very first time i watched a live basketball game yung 1968 finals ng uaap: danny florencio's u.s.t. vs. robert jaworski's u.e. at the rizal memorial coliseum with the maestro baby d coaching the warriors. balikatan ang laban all throughout with u.e. winning at the sound of the buzzer.

WHOAAHHH, I was there, too! Watching the finals ng UAAP. But per my recollection 1965 nuon, not 1968. I know kasi kauuwi lang namin ng dad ko from Malabon after attending the birthday of my lolo November nuon. First time I saw him at ang tangkad tangkad niya. But the star of the evening was another Crispa and Toyota star, si Danny Florencio na sa news kinabukasan nagpakawala pala ng 40 points.

This team has full of talents but poor coaching staff especially that f$%^&!
