Agent_mulder
Ok na sana pero sana ibinaon na nila ang air21 at ‘di na pinadikit pa, sinabihan na nga sila ni Coach Jong na ‘wag maging complacent dahil sa laki ng lamang nila (at alam n’ya na kayang habulin ng kalaban ‘yon) pero ‘di yata nila pinansin, mabuti na lang Caguiao and Alexander provided the scoring in the 4th quarter noong kailangan nila. They should make the adjustments sa match-up kina de ocampo and santos (and even with canaleta) as once either one of these guys are inside (along with se and thomas) Ginebra had to use another big player to defend on them. Tama ang sinabi noong commentator kagabi na pag tatlong big guys ang nasa loob for Ginebra (at hindi tatlong guards as they usually does in most of their games) bumabagal sila, hirap si Valenzuela or Salvacion kay de ocampo at nakita ng air21 ang mismatch na ‘yan kaya most probably magde-design sila ng plays para d’yan. Putting Wilson on Santos might be a good match and he can help in the rebounding and in the hussle department. Menk, Mamaril or Crisano on de ocampo or se is a good match-up dahil magaling na post-up defender ang mga ‘to. I hope that Artadi would get well in time for game 2, tama ‘yung ginawa ni Coach Jong na hindi na s’ya gamitin dahil baka ma-aggravate pa ang injury n’ya. Reavis greatly help them in the rebounding aside from scoring some baskets while Menk played quite well esp. in attacking the inside defense of the opposing team. Also, sana magamit si Pablo sa series dahil additional firepower from the outside s'ya.. Quote Link to comment

Gideon
Lamang talaga ng Ginebra kng experience ang pag-uusapan. Sana lang eh wag i-underestimate ang Air21. 2-0 na ito! Quote Link to comment
Joredf
kitang kita ang inexperience ng Air 21. Puro bagito sa Finals ang mga player ng Air21. Besides Gin Kings has a deeper bench not to mention that Chris Alexander outplayed Steve Thomas practically all night. Hindi pa nga gaanong umiscore si JJ Helterbrand. If Air 21 can not make BIG adjustments for Game 2 it will be another lopsided win foe Ginebra Ginebra go for the 14-0 in Game 2!!! Quote Link to comment
howard_the_duck
Kung di sana natalo ng RBB ang BGK sa second round 17 game winning streak na sana. 19 ang PBA record held by the 1980 Crispa team 9-0 in the elims, 8-0 in the semis and 2-0 in the best of five finals Quote Link to comment
oracle_man
^^Yeah, that is the record in a single conference. So wala na chance ngayon ang BGK to break that. The overall record (also by Crispa) spanning two conferences is 21. Assuming (assuming lang po, wala pong kokontra) BGK will sweep Air21, they will need 5 straight wins to start the next tournament to tie. Edited August 7, 2008 by oracle_man Quote Link to comment

oracle_man
In the second game, it is very critical for Air21 to show big adjustments, otherwise this series will be very boring. Granting that the Express team will adjust, I am confident the Gin Kings will also readjust quickly. A case in point, I noticed that Air21 immediately employed full court press right after every Ginebra timeout, the last time they got burned as Jong designed a counter play for that press - Mark got away easily, missed the shot but CA was there for the easy putback slam. [TWO]RERO
he's not the top player for BPC for nothing.. nasira agad yung momentum ng Air21 after that fastbreak play to a SLAM by the toothpick.. Quote Link to comment
