Barangay Ginebra Kings

I hope Al Chua will give him playing time to get his rhythm. Raymundo is one of the top post guys in the league and if the run and gun gets shut down by the other team, he is the main option at the post for Ginebra. I admired his post moves when he was still playing for Red Bull and Purefoods.

i think what kerby really lacks is the playing time to get back his confidence and rhythm. nawala ang kumpiyansa nung binangko ni siot. hopefully chua will give him the much needed playing time. i believe this guy still has the moves at the post.

His idols are Kevin Garnett and Hakeem Olajuwon...

Garnett doesn't post up that often but The Dream is absolutely the best post player in NBA history, in my opinion. Raymundo is more of like a Mchale in his post moves. Should the other team neutralize the fast break, the post play of Raymundo is definitely one of the major options of Al Chua. Perhaps, even a two-man game between Raymundo and Caguioa or Tenorio, which is another option.

Or better yet, just give the ball to Kerby with four shooters positioned on different spots on the floor, reminiscent of the Houston Rockets in the mid-90's.

i agree!

may nabasa ako na malamang may trade na naman na mangyayari soon ... two of the teams mentioned are Globalport and Meralco. Pero baka may ibang teams pa daw ma-involve. Kasama pa rin kaya ang Ginebra?

Sa isang forum may nagsasabing Espiritu and Labagala para kay MAndani and draft pick ni Globalport

Japeth Aguilar Included In The Upcoming PBA BIG Trade Prior The PBA Season 38 Commissioner’s Cup?

Source: Abante-Tonite

A BIG trade involving 6 teams is being processed right now. It is literally a big trade because the 6’9 Japeth Aguilar is allegedly the main component of the big time swap of players.

6 other players are said to also be included in the Big Time Trade that is expected to be finalized prior to the start of the PBA Season 38 Commissioner’s Cup on February 8.

The teams that are involved in the said trade are Ginebra, Meralco, Petron, Air21, GlobalPort, and Talk ‘n Text ( the team that holds the rights to Japeth Aguilar).

Japeth has expressed his strong desire to be traded via his agent here in the Philippines and it looks like his wish will already be granted especially if this trade pushes thru.

The source of Abante Tonite also divulged that aside from Japeth, Vic Manuel, Rabeh al-Hussaini, Kerby Raymundo, Noy Baclao, Jay Washington, and Jay-R Reyes could be the 6 other players that will be included in the Big Time Trade.

was watching pba greatest games... it came as a surprise to me that bong alvarez played for both ginebra and smb.... in another game featuring aquino, feihl, locsin etc... smb was leading by 14 last 7 min ... the kings displayed their never-say die spirit... sayang talo ng 1 point..... my point is kahit napanod ko na yun dati at replay lang kanina, nakaexcite pa rin habang humahabol sila hahaha

Same here. Napanood ko rin. Nandun pa nga sina Wilmer Ong, Rey Cuenco, Pido Jarencio (totoy na totoy pa), Gayoso, Hizon, Bal David, etc. Never say die nga. Ang sarap panoorin kapag nasa loob pa si Jawo.
