Agent_mulder
The waiting game is on para sa results ng last 2 games ng alaska. I just hope his new found fame doesn't get into his head. Pag ang trio nila Baguio, Tubid at Intal continues to be consistent meron na silang awesome threesome, kulang na lang sila sa big men to match up with the likes of the beermen, alaska or even tnt. Kay Rich Alvarez talaga ako nanghihinayang, promising ang player na 'to (esp. sa no. 3 position dahil athletic at may leaping ability din) noong nasa amateurs pa then UAAP MVP tapos No. 1 draft pick noong 2004 pero benchwarmer na lang, mabuti pa yata si Alvarez na lang ang nilagay sa injured/reserved list instead of Kramer. ray004
kung ako nga tatanungin mas gusto ko talaga dumaan sila ng quarterfinals para lalong gumanda chemistry nila. may disadvantage din kasi yung outright semis. haba ng hihintayin mo kasi may wildcard at quarterfinals pa. it could disrupt any momentum your team is enjoying right now. hothands
ok sana ang automatic semis, kaso may drawback un e.. baka maging rusty ung mga players pag nag-antay ng matagal.. also, suntok sa buwan ung matalo ang Alaska ng 2 sunod against lower ranked teams.. and for sure, babawi un sa RoS kasi un ung nagbigay sa kanila ng first loss this season e.. saka kung magtuloy-tuloy ung magandang performance ni Intal, baka runaway winner na sya sa Most Improved Player.. izzpine
sa tingin ko mas magandang wala sa GINEBRA ung DALAWANG CROCODILE Jayjay (Helterbrand) and Mark (Caguioa), mas maganda flow ng offense nila, mas mganda ball rotation, puro kc one on one play alam nung dalawa, sila ASS HOLE ng GINEBRA!!!! May point ka definitely (though I would probably get some or if not a lot of flak from fellow Ginebra fans for concurring with you), mas maganda talaga ang flow ng offense nila ngayon kesa sa pure one-on-one plays nila Caguiao at Helterbrand pero let's not forget na silang 2 ang isa sa reason kung bakit nanalo ng 4 na championship ang Ginebra this decade.... brun0magtangol
Share ko lang po mga GM's The Final Score: Ginebra goes Airborne01/19/2010 | 11:44 AM | | More Share Surely you must've noticed by now. There's something different with Ginebra this season. Ginebra used to torch opponents on the street. They didn’t win games per se. They ruled high-stakes drag races. Ginebra roared through tournaments like souped-up Lancers and Civics. Hence, anytime Jay-Jay Helterbrand or Mark Caguioa or both go down with injuries,Ginebra loses velocity the way drag race cars decelerate when the rear parachute deploys. Although Helterbrand flourished during Caguioa’s absence last season, Helterbrand missed running 2-on-1 fast-breaks with Caguioa. Let’s face it, there’s more fun scoring on a 3-against-2 Ginebra blitz than on a one-on-one crossover jumper against the opposing point guard. Helterbrand and Caguioa cranked it, floored it and let it rip. Their tire marks were all over the scene like signatures on valuable paintings. They were, after all, The Fast and The Furious. But as I watched Ginebra battle Burger King last Sunday, it was obvious Ginebra is spending less and less time on the asphalt and more and more time in mid-air. Fans used to imagine Vin Diesel and Paul Walker guiding Ginebra through urban chicanes. Nowadays, Ginebra is letting Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer go 10 g’s on the hardcourt. You’re no longer watching Talladega Nights. This is old-school Top Gun. Norman Black asked the perfect question during a slow-motion replay of Ginebra’s running attack, “What do you do on defense if you’re facing JC Intal and Cyrus Baguio on a two-on-one break?" What do most defenders end up doing? They watch. We all do. Even Helterbrand and Caguioa, still nursing injuries, have no other recourse but to do the same. And it’s been quite a show. JC Intal executes one of his highlight reel dunks. Jeff VenancioIntal is averaging 20 points, seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block and one “top ten play of the week" in his last four games. Baguio is scoring 22 points per contest in his last two games. Add those numbers to Ronald Tubid’s steady 17.5 PPG and you have a squadron all ready for the next air strike. Suddenly Jong Uichico doesn’t look like Burt Reynolds in Driven or Robert Duvall in Days of Thunder anymore. In the ongoing Philippine Cup, Uichico is quickly morphing into Viper. His task is to teach Top Gun rules of engagement to a bunch of intrepid flyers that often look like Maverick and Iceman when their games are on but sometimes appear like Maverick and Ariel when their games are off. Intal, Baguio and Tubid had a combined nine turnovers against Burger King. While Alaska staggers to the finish line of the elimination round, Ginebra soars with a four-game winning run. If Alaska continues to slide, Ginebra might even snatch the last automatic semifinals berth. Swapping V8 Aston Martins for F-22 Raptors will, then, appear like a stroke of genius. What happens, though, when proven playoff winners return to join this season’s great discoveries? Is there a way to combine The Fast and the Furious with The Flight and The Fearless? Only Viper has the answers. credit goes to the writer: original link here Quote Link to comment
Agent_mulder
Nice article, thanks for sharing it with us bro. Nice comparison with some of the great Hollywood movies too. ako nga dinI am wondering paano kung bumalik na sina The Fast and the Fuirious at kung paano sila mag-blend and share the brunt of the offense with the Young Guns of Ginebra (Intal, Baguio and maybe even White who is also doing good), we all knew na they had blend well with Tubid at nanalo na sila ng championship with Tubid (in 07 and 08), we all just have to wait and see.. crystalyx
Maganda ng mapunta sila sa outright semis for BGK to rest and heal, mga tatang na kasi sila mamaril, menk, helterbrand and caguioa. Bka madisgrasya pa sila or ma-injure ung ibang players pag dumaan pa ng quarters... Quote Link to comment

hothands
biglang bumukas ng onti ung door ng automatic semis para sa BGK.. sana manalo ang RoS and matalo ang PF.. delikado ang BGK pag nagkaron ng 3-way tie ang BGK, Alaska and PF kasi ang maiiwan na maglalaban para sa automatic semis would be Alaska and PF kasi mas mataas ang quotient ng 2 teams na un.. vexy9
aba dpat matalo ung PF & Aces s huling laro nila! bka xe mging 4th p tayo, mkatapat & mkalaban p natin ung SMB! mhirap n, laglag tayo dun kung sakali. dapat 2nd or 3rd lng pra iwas pusoy! Quote Link to comment

photographer
Sayang yung drive ni Mercado, nadale sana ang Alaska. Namumuti at namumutla na si Tim Cone buong fourth quarter. FIshing for foul finawa ni Mercado kaso maliit siya at puro poste yung kumuyog sa kanya. 1 point win by Alaska. Well, at least, tuloy tuloy ang laro ng Ginebra pero sana nga makakapagpahinga sila sa mga iniinda nila Quote Link to comment
