Yes... most probably dahil alam nila na mahina sa close out sa 3s ang gins...

 

I know tim is one of the greatest mind sa basketball, pero siguro he should abandon yung zone pag nakakapasok na ng 3s and abandon his 3-guard rotation...keep it as an option ...

 

Sa next game, i suggest to use raymond and prince alternately or match up ke tj at troy...

 

Siguro first 5 nya should be la, jbl, japeth, prince and greg... kung di gumana si greg, use jdv...

 

Pamalit stan, raymond and aljon... sorry but i can't see scottie fitting in right now because limited ang opensa nya...

Tnt has ginebra's number lalo na pag di gumagana si greg! The gins weakness is also its strength in jbl... the smaller import...

chief, since the elims, this is what TnT has been doing. nung elims against TnT, niyari tayo ni pogoy. semis game 1, it was the turn of rosario and semerad. game 2, it was castro and heruelas. kung walang adjustments, sino kaya ang susunod? as what dickel said, everybody is licensed to shoot. at yung hesitation ng ginebra na tumira...dribble...pasa...resulta? agaw!!! well, TnT needs 3 wins. 3 straight Ws? it's gonna be an uphill climb...pero bilog ang bola. one game at a time and it starts with game 3...and with the necessary adjustments.

It's all about the rotation of the Ginkings partly. Pag yung 3 guard combo ang nasa loob; bumibilis nga ang takbo ng Ginkings pero nacocompromise yung depensa...alang ipantatapat sa matatangkad na shooters ng TNT, also kapansin pansin din na yung bilis nasasamahan minsan ng pagmamadali ayun errors ang inaabot. Visible din yung hesitation tumira...simpleng Jumpshot, i da drop pass pa. Also look at how TNT play the passing lane and the defense against JB. Yung yung current issue kung bakit puro L tayo now.

 

Could be scenario is Jeff Chan will have a field day beyond the arc para bumuka na yung D ng TNT, Sana Pringle will have his Bounce back game bukas, Japeth needs to be more aggressive in offense and get fouls that will send TNT's bigs into Foul trouble, Greg wakes up and play defense with TJ and be a rim protector, JDV to be less hesitant in offense and help depending tnt's bigs.

 

Usual laro ni LA and Scotties hustle and bench scoring. Si Caperal and Raymond magamit din sana bukas somehow.

 

Parang awa mo na Tim Cone...use your Einsteiniques coaching bukas...otherwise pupulutin tayo sa taniman ng Ampalaya!

For me si Greg yung missing link sa Ginebra. Usually positions himself in the high post, pag kuha niya ng bola either look to pass siya ng hand off o kaya pull up siya from 15.

Sa rebounds naman hindi siya fully maaasahan. minsan outhustled pa palaga since he is slow. Wala siyang legit post move.

Brownlee is really good but matchup problem talaga si Jones.

Mahirap din humabol ng 0-2 but who knows, Ginebra yan. tiwala lang and NSD.

pansin nagkakgulo cla sa depensa , me play ang tnt apat sa labas isa sa loob (troy), nagsisimula ung sa taas c jones drive sa loob, pag nakalusot sya lay up pag sinalubong sa depensa ng king dun nagkakagulo , ipapasa sa labas ang bola, hahabol ang king sa open man at iikot naman ang bola sa open, di automatic ang switching ng depensa ng kings nanhuhula minsan..... tapus c pringle drible ng drible 2 point lang ang na shot..........ang gins kasi di desiplinado sa depensa. c scotie wag mo una ipilit ung outside shooting mo , magpractice ka muna hanngang maperfect mo, tulad ni ross ng smb dati walang three points...tulungan nyo c brownlee makawala sa depensa ni jones, bigyan ng pick at screen. c pringles maging decoy ka muna sa opensa. c greg lumaban ka sa rebound wag ka patulak.

actually chief hindi naman talaga manakit ang mga ginagawa dati nina cabatu, gonzalgo, ong pati na din si locsin. pinaparamdam lang nila na nandun yung depensa. sabi nga nila "let them feel your defense". ang problema kasi sa ginebra ngayon malamya ang depensa. slaughter cannot even dominate sa laki niyang yan. simpleng layup pinababayaan na lang. kay jawo noon, no easy baskets. if only ginebra can replicate the tough and rugged defense instilled by the big "j" in his group before, mas marami pa sanang papahirapan ito. kaso hindi yata yan ang style ng depensa ni tim cone.

 

Sir iba na rin kasi ang galawan ngayon ng mga players sa opposite side of the floors madami nang di puedeng gawin now sa depensa kung hinde mangangamote tayo sa penalty1 or 2 or thrown out at saka ibang coaching style...Big J and Tim Cone. Balik tayo ...circa 90's; ilang beses tinalo ng system ni CTC ang REAL NSD approach ni Jawo? Ang the best way for us to take game 3 is to play for the players to step up on both O's and D's the whole 48 minutes and possibly 53 Minutes.

 

On the lighter side my brown crystal ball is very itchy...A good sign that we will take game 3 tomorrow...Itaga nyo na sa bato yan!

Ang sinisipat ko na ngayon is yung game 4 sa Thursday.
