Playing time lang kailangan niya, kung naaalala niyo pa mga sir si Aljon din ang isa sa mga dahilan kung bakit natin natalo alaska dati na may twice to beat advantage pa.

Injury Update:

 

Japeth- will be out 1 more week for recovery.

Greg- suffered a bone bruise but is expected to start practicing on Oct 5.

Sol- Needs few more weeks.

Art Dela Cruz- He's now practicing with the team but coaching staff still not rushing him.

R. Aguilar- Will suit up tomorrow but still doubtful.

Sargeant and Jervy- Out for the rest of the season.

Aguilar nears return for Ginebra but Devance out indefinitely

 

JOE Devance will sit for an indefinite period of time after suffering a stress fracture in his right foot as Ginebra's injury woes worsened in the PBA Governors Cup.

 

Devance was wearing a boot in his right foot during Tuesday’s practice and didn’t participate in the Kings' training.

 

“We have some bad news that Joe Devance had a stress fracture on his foot and will be out for a few weeks. We don’t know how long it will be,” said Cone.

Devance admitted that he has been playing hurt in the past few games, earning praise from Cone. Now he has no choice but to sit out.

Ginebra, however, received some good news after Japeth Aguilar and Art dela Cruz became healthy enough to participate in the team’s practices.

 

Aguilar suffered a pulled muscle during the Fiba Basketball World Cup Asian qualifiers

 

“We are hoping Japeth and Art can get back for us. But just to see them in a practice jersey on the floor on offense and defense is exciting for us,” said Cone.

 

 

“Japeth has a pulled muscle so you always have to be careful about those pulled muscles. But hopefully, he will be ready for Friday,” Cone added.

 

Ginebra has been hit with the injury bug this conference with Greg Slaughter and Sol Mercado still out due to injuries.

 

But Cone said the two are on their way to returning on the court for the Kings.

 

“Greg is on the horizon. Sol will be back probably within a week or 10 days. Slowly but surely, we hope to get our guys back and start moving forward,” said Cone.
