magaling talagang coach si tim... kung ma sign up nya yung 3 rookies, he had cured yung back up ni greg problem...greg will have dave and de guzman as back up... japeth will have jervy... sf will have ellis and ferrer.... sg will have caguioa, mariano, scottie (who can slide to pg).... pg will be la, sol and jj.... sana lang jericho will be a good back up...nakakataka lang kasi at 26 and at 6'11" walang nakakapansin sa kanya....

ferrer, hopefully, should be the consistent shooter they had been looking for... jbl plugged that hole for the meantime last conference... sa all-pinky, that gap will be back unless kevin, ellis, mariano would step up

smb got avo (6'8") as junmar's back up... they have an enviable front court.... junmar, reyes, AVO, de ocampo... pf will be arwind, espies and semerad... armind can slide to 3 ...pwede nila pag sabayin si fajardo, avo at arwind... mismatch problem agar... kahit me import as arwind is versatile, he can be stretched as a shooting guard....

Mariano is not a two (guard). His played the 4 in college but was converted to three or the sf position in the pba.

Si Ferrer plays the 3 and is the one who could probably slide to two guard.

Jericho plays like kaunting below the standard of Samigue Eman who is 6'10". I do hope Cone can have a magic cure for this kid. Sayang. After playing for St. Benilde naging laughing stock siya dahil nga parang natataranta sa loob ng court. Malay natin kapag namura na ng english in Tim biglang mamulat.

Dyan natin makikita ang tim cone magic.Sana madevelop ni ctc si jericho tulad ng pagdevelop nya sa laro ni ping.

From Ginebra practice player to draftee, hard work pays off for de Guzman

By: Bong Lozada

06:32 PM October 31st, 2016

Jericho De Guzman stood at 6-foot-11, but he was never the one to standout in a basketball crowd.

During the team’s championship run in the PBA Governors’ Cup, his only chance to step into the parquet floor was when the confetti started to fall inside Smart Araneta Coliseum.

De Guzman was no fan. He was the team’s practice player, but with the anonymity surrounding him he can be easily mistaken for a spectator.

Until Sunday night at Robinsons Place Manila when he took the stage as the 10th pick in the regular draft by Ginebra.

“Right now sobrang saya ko ngayon, dream come true, pinagtrabahuhan ko ng five months nag pay off na, officially ka-Barangay na ako,” said De Guzman.

“Ito na start and ibibgay ko best ko. Pagsisikapan ko na tumaas level ng laro ko para sa barangay.”

De Guzman is already 27 years old, a little old for someone who’s just starting a professional basketball career.

But age is not an issue for the former College of St. Benilde center who admitted he once doubted if he could ever become a PBA talent.

“Dati before I graduated naisip ko pero, di ako nag give up sa dream ko kasi alam ko through hard work and dasal sa Diyos makakarating ka sa pangarap mo,” said De Guzman. “Hindi ako nag give up and naghanap ako ng ways.”

Solid na solid, i liked it na nde nila pinabayaan si jericho de guzman kinuha din pala nila, im sure madaming magsisisi kung bakit nde nila kinuha si jericho

Chief parang a younger version ni arwind pati pangangatawan eh hehehe....only thing goin against jamitk, medyo may edad na sya, altho still young at 26 years of age

Sagasa kung sagasa ang laro chief. Kaya parang Vic Manuel. May leaping ability rin, and decent perimeter shot. Most points nya sa D League are from the paint.

Question, ung kumuha kya ng pix nakatuntong sa upuan?

Not from Angeles but of Dennis Pineda of Lubao, Pampanga. He still has in his stable high schools 6'9" Baltazar who was judged Finals MVP sa UAAP Juniors Championship with N.U. at yuong isa almost 6'11" Pangalangan. Both ipapasok niya sa La Salle.

Malamang may selfie stick yuong kumuha ng picture.................:-)

Mark Caguioa signs new two-year contract with Barangay Ginebra
Mark Caguioa is set to suit up for his 16th season with the Barangay Ginebra Kings.
BARANGAY Ginebra will still have 'Spark' in its lineup for the next two years.

Mark Caguioa, for so many, many years served as the face of the franchise, agreed to renew his ties with the PBA's most popular ballclub by signing a fresh two-year contract.

The deal meant the 36-year-old former league MVP would be back for a 16th straight season for the Kings, who he helped end an eight-year title drought recently by winning the season-ending Governors Cup.

Two other key players in that championship unit who will be back for the team in the coming new season are big men Joe Devance and Dave Marcelo. The two also signed separate new deals with the Kings.
