NO WAY ... that pick from Air 21 is precious. For japeth, the Gins own pick next year baka pwede pa. Japeth is a talented player in his own right, but as a center? Masyadong manipis. Mas okay pa siguro kung ang kukunin nila in exchange for the pick is Thoss or JR Reyes, baka mas productive pa. For approval by Commissioner Salud. ayon to sa AKTV website... well the asset here really is the first round pick for next year which is a potential number one pick ... this could turn out to be Greg Slaughter or a Stanley Pringle if it slips to number 2. Both would fill in the team's need to beef up it's Center and PG position for the future. 2013 could again be a deep draft in term of talent. Other possible names available would be Chris Banchero, Ian Sanggalan, Niko Salva, MAtthew Rosser. Opinion lang, kung tutuusin hindi rin naman bad idea kung kinuha ng BGK si Tiu sa 6th pick considering the present line-up ng team. JH13 is no longer on his MVP form and might not have a longer carrer because of age factor while Cortez plays inconsistently. Labagala is a good back-up but he will not be the face of BGK's backcourt. Caguioa needs a point guard which Tiu may fit the bill. Chris Ellis athleticism is a big factor but still many quarters still doubt if he can knock those shots. They even compare him to John Arigo who we all knows that had a very short carrer and with still Jansen at 8th pick we had a decent pick at the forward spot. Ako i think hindi dapat panghinayangan ang hindi pagkuha kay Tiu kung needs ang batayan. No disrespect to Chris Tiu, alam naman natin ang kalibre niya at ano ang kaya niyang gawin ... however, if it boils down to Chris Ellis and Chris Tiu I'll prefer the former. Tiu eat your heart out, sina Canada, Zamar, Elliot at Buensuceso na-draft ng Ginebra ikaw HINDI! , Sa FB ilang minutes lang late eh, sa tv ilang oras after the draft which starts at 3 p.m. before pa nila nai-telecast.. Alam naman natin na si JJ baga bigla magising na lang at gusto na mag retire. Si Cortez is also playing under a one year contract na lang. As long as the Air 21 pick ends up being among the top three for next year, you are looking at Slaughter, Pringle or Banchero. Wala ka nang itulak kabigin diyan sa tatlo. A fews days before the draft sinabi na ni Siot na "interesado" sila ke tiu, then come draft day 'di nila kinuha, reverse psychology and ginamit, kasi kung sinabi n'ya na interesado sila ke Ellis o Jensen malamang nakuha na 'yung 1 sa 2, loaded sa guard ang Ginebra kaya 'di nila kailangan si tiu, mukhang mas ok pa nga 'yung Buensuseco kesa sa kanya at sana nga mabigyan ng contract, si Pido Jarencio nga na coach n'ya sa PBA D-League bilib na bilib sa kanya Quote Link to comment
