Iyung mga players na naka bold letter expected ko nang makukuha sa 1st and 2nd round, at least for me. Also, I read a lot of positive and/or great thing about Alex Mallari na Fil-Am pala, It thought na galing lang sa Pampanga ('to due to his surname)hehe....

tsk, tsk tsk............look what you have done SIot, dapat ikaw ang na trade. :angry2:

The Air 21 Express are embarking on a massive offseason buildup and are on the verge of trading for four players expected to bolster their frontline.

Express coach Franz Pumaren told InterAKTV that the team is set to acquire Petron frontliners Noy Baclao and Rob Reyes, Ginebra forward KG Canaleta, and Barako Bull wingman Leo Najorda.

"At least we got our wish to beef up our frontline," said Pumaren, who is still on the lookout for a point guard to strengthen the Express backcourt.

Pumaren did not divulge additional details about the deal, which is expected to be finalized Friday.

Last month, shortly after returning to the team, Air 21 official Lito Alvarez had hinted about a blockbuster deal in the works.

Baclao was the top overall pick in the 2010 draft, while Reyes blossomed at Petron last season. Curiously, the former Ateneo forward began his career in an Air 21 uniform, before the franchise was renamed Barako Bull last year.

Canaleta, a key shooter off the bench for Ginebra who won his fifth slam dunk title last year, also was an original draftee of the old Air 21 franchise, while Najorda also spent time with that team.

Sayang si KG, remember the likes of Rodney Santos, Junthy Valenzuela, Macapagal, Baguio, Cyrus Baguio, Rafi Reavis, JC Intal and Ronald Tubid. Nawala na 'yung 1 sa mga fresh legs ng team. Though sina Rodney at Junthy were later on waived yata. Sana makuha nila si Rob Reyes. With this development sure nang kukunin ng petron si Fajarco and maybe another big man..

Kg plays sf the same position played by Dylan and allein. I think ok Lang na I-Trade to get the team what it needs kasi redundant. It would also allow the two incoming sophomores more playing time to fully develop.

Buti na lang 'di kinuha si Tiu, me nabasa ako na interview ke Siot at he intimated his desire to draft Tiu, nakalimuta siguro na madami na silang guard..

I was hoping na makuha sana nila si alex Mallari along with Vic Manuel dahil baka makuha na si Ellis by the time na sila na ang pipili sa 6th 8th spot, but hey I am glad that they managed to get Ellis who'll bring energy to them pag totoo nga ang news na magre-retire na si Rudy and Jensen. Me isa pa silang kinuha, Jerick Canada, akala ko Fil-Am hehe

Daming kinuha ng Ginebra ah, up to the last round me pick. 'Di ako familiar sa last 2 picks nila na sina Virgil Buensuceso at Elliot Tan, so I did some research sa net, it turns out na parehong PG ang 2 na 'to, Virgil just like Alapag and Ryan Reyes is a pure Pinoy.

Buensuceso

Virgil Cousy awardee

Buensuceso D-League

He surely looks like the steal of the draft, I hope na papirmahin s'ya ng contract ng Ginebra, baka s'ya na ang magiging new generation of PG para sa Ginebra, at maging Alapag ng Ginebra hehe. 'Yung clamor natin for young players andyan na..
