Palagay ko may pinag usapan na yang dalawa. Well, naalala ko tuloy, bata pa kayo and many of you were not born yet. Nuong panahon ko during the Asian Games of 73, dito ginanap sa Rizal Memorial ang Games. Buong tourney si Jimmy Mariano and Bogs Adornado ang tumitirada and taking the scoring chores of the Philippine Team then came the championship game with South Korean featuring the great Shin Dong-Pa. Yun pala si coach (forgot na kung sino-the late Tito Eduque ata) may pinag usapan na nila ni Manny Paner. When game time came, higpit ng bantay kina Mariano and Adornado. Tumiradang bigla yung di gaanong ginagamit na Paner. Sunod sunod. And the rest is history. Kasama duon ang ating coach, si Jawo. Bangko pa si Arnaiz nuon. Quote Link to comment

Canaleta, who scored 25 points in his first six games in the tournament, matched that total last night and helped the Kings to a 93-84 come-from-behind win over B-Meg at the jampacked, animated Cuneta Astrodome. “I am very happy for him, because all his hard work is paying off,” Ginebra coach Siot Tanquingcen, who described Canaleta as a workaholic, said. “Even if he has not been playing, he continues to work hard.” The 6-foot-6 three-time Slam Dunk champion hit timely three-pointers, with his 14 second quarter points keeping the Kings in the thick of things before unloading nine fourth-quarter points that helped Ginebra cap its late winning streak with the No. 2 seed. Binibitin lang yung tira wherein alam naman nating kaya nyang ipwersa para sa facial dunk. Pls give more playing time to Canaleta and Villanueva! I guess their playing time is more based on their opponent rather than rotation. Tingnan mo sila Mamaril. Last night nung tagilid ang BGK sa rebounds hinugot lahat ni Coach Siot ng higante sa bench at pinagsabay sabay sa court. Nung tinatakbuhan naman sila, ipinasok si Labagala at John Wilson. rickyfred Posted March 31, 2012 Share Posted March 31, 2012 Ok naman si Labagala provided some energy in BGK kasama si J.Wilson, lamang nga ng 8pts BMEG nun napadikit nila bcoz of energy did by Labagala at yung assist niya sa fastbreak kay J.Wilson. Kaso hindi siya pwede magtagal sa court nung pinasok na si Barocca at Simon, nag adjust na agad sila. Good defense ni Canaleta kay J.Yap at Ababou kay Simon, dito na lumayo yung Ginebra ng madepensahan nila sa 4th quarter yung dalawang tirador ng BMEG. Ganyan sana palagi sa BGK pag malas ang iba may isa na maglalaro na biggest game niya. last game against TNT si Hatfield now against BMEG si Canaleta. Quote Link to comment

He did some break away layups last night. Si Mark C. nga ang nagkakalat during the first half. Ang daming butata sa kanya, an airball tapos daming masamang pasa. Wala sa condition si Mark last night kasi he said naman halos wala siyang tulog thinking about the game. Also, I like the rookie Ababou. May kinabukasan itong batang ito.
