Agent_mulder
got this in JJ HELTERBRAND's FB account... it says "Even those who are famous bow down to the REAL KING." Ala Tim Tebow si Helterbrand d'yan ah. NEED HELP BA SILA SA COACHING STAFF? HERE COMES.... COACH RAJKO TOROMAN SA BGK... wow, toroman wearing BGK... ... i can see more fluidity in offense if Toroman will indeed, sit down sa BGK bench that would be an added x factor for the kings if toroman will sit with ginebra's bench. That'll be great, langya parang trade ah, si jong napunta sa SG ngayon naman si Toroman nasa Ginebra na hehe Edited February 17, 2012 by Agent_mulder Quote Link to comment

photographer
LUCENA CITY. -- LA Tenorio made two incredible plays at the finish as Alaska Milk beat out Barangay Ginebra, 76-74, in a fierce battle in their PBA Commissioner’s Cup road game here Saturday night. The brilliant Alaska playmaker came through with a rare four-point play and a triple inside the final 18 seconds, keying the Aces’ escape act that wowed the cheering crowd at the Quezon Convention Center. It was a classic match also marked by clutch baskets by Cyrus Baguio, Mark Caguioa and Kerby Raymundo. Baguio finished with a game-high 29 points while Tenorio wound up with 23 as Alaska scored a follow-up on its 109-102 win on Feb. 2. The Aces improved to 2-1 while the Kings slid to 1-1. Caguioa paced the Kings with 19 points and ended up with a double-double game as he grabbed 12 rebounds. The two teams figured in a fierce battle in the payoff period with Ginebra taking the lead for the last time at 74-73 on a jumper by Raymundo off Sonny Thoss with only 6.0 seconds left. The Aces, however, salvaged the game by working out a play where Tenorio eluded defender Jayjay Helterbrand on a pick by Thoss then got the dish from Adam Parada for the winning three-pointer he drained with 2.1 ticks left. Earlier, Tenorio got away with a four-point play off Mike Cortez to make it 73-72 with 18.2 seconds left. Before that, Caguioa scored on a jumper off Baguio as Ginebra put pressure on Alaska. The Aces, however, essayed the role usually plays by the Kings – never-say-die. It became a virtual all-Filipino game with Parada and Chris Alexander concentrating on defense and board work. Both scored only seven points. Caguioa and Cortez led Ginebra’s assault as the Kings took the half at 41-32. The Aces, however, opened the second half with a 10-to-nothing run paving the way for the tight finish in this out-of-town tussle sponsored by Phoenix Fuel. Coming off an 84-82 nail-biter over the Petron Blaze Boosters, the Kings threatened to pull away early, enjoying a double-digit lead at 36-26. (SB) The scores: Alaska 76 – Baguio 29, Tenorio 23, Parada 7, Baracael 5, Thoss 4, Reyes, JayR 4, Bugia 2, Custodio 2, Eman 0, Salamat 0. Barangay Ginebra 74 – Caguioa 19, Cortez 13, Raymundo 12, Ababou 9, Alexander 7, Helterbrand 5, Canaleta 4, Labagala 3, Mamaril 1, Wilson, W. 1. Quarterscores: 18-17, 32-41, 58-56, 76-74. So I'm not seeing any reason not to have Alfrancis Chua at the BGK bench. It's the reason he's there anyway. Your ideas are good... for next year. Let's focus on the NOW. Quote Link to comment
SaintPeter5858
I think BGK is not that strong this conference Quote Link to comment
CharlesOngSy
Sinuwerte talaga si Tenorio nung larong yun. Pero, kaya pa ng Ginebra to. Quote Link to comment

Agent_mulder
I think BGK is not that strong this conference Sa akin tingin ko 'di nama-maximize na mabuti ang mga players nila, madami silang players that can score on any given night kaso ang rotation is not much to be desired.. Or hope that SMC dads can convince Jawo or Caidic to coach BGK Caidic? Nag-coach na s'ya sa Ginebra around 2003 or 2004 yata 'yun at madaming Ginebra fans ang nag voice out ng opinion nila para palitan s'ya at isa na ako doon.. Quote Link to comment
fatchubs

SaintPeter5858
Hopefully, Alexander can still lift the team in the remaining games Quote Link to comment
