if this kid will get playing minutes to show his real potential, ok itong trade na ito. this guy used to form a formidable frontline with perkins and torres with lasalle. sana lang talaga wag mabangko.

Japhet is a PF, who plays SF and is very effective on that.

Prince and Raymond plays center, but are undersized (think junmar fajardo)

Exactly chief...why give up your advantage. Greg is still a 7 foot guy who can at least match-up with junemar. That's the undeniable fact. You can't teach height. Maybe ferrer but if Compton refuses, Alaska can have abueva for all i care. This guy is a walking time bomb. Yes Sargent plays the 2 position and is not a tall guy. With the addition of chan and sargent, i guess ginebra is more competitive now.

Para sakin, Gustuhin ko man mapunta sa Ginebra si Calvin, huwag na lang kung ang kapalit ay si Greg or Japhet. Kahit malambot at Mabagal si Greg, iba pa din yung may pantapat ka kay Junemar. Tapos nadagdagan pa ng Christian S. ang SMB, mas lalo kailangan ng Ginebra yung twin tower nila.

Tim is not a fan of fastbreaks... he put premium in bigmen...unless there are compelling reasons, i am not seeing him trade japeth or slaughter for an undersized power forward...

 

The moves of the gins (trades) are trying to address their weakness in the 3 position... shooting and defensive wise...

no way, I don't think GSM management sees CA as equal to either Greg or Japeth as I do too. Yes, CA is a great player and a good addition to the team but a straight trade to Greg or Japeth...I don't think so.

i think sargent used to play the 2 or 3 when he was with lasalle. i forsee jet playing alongside scottie when LA and sol finally pass the baton to the younger guys.

Si Chan serviceable pa yan mga sir tama yung mga sinabi niyo na good for 2-3 years pa yan. Si devance nga 36 na at tadtad na ng injuries pero serviceable pa din. Wala naman din siya naging major injury tsaka basic lang mag laro kaya good pick up yan si chan.

 

Yung Sargent ginagamit dati lagi yun ni Pido, okay naman laro niyan masipag, may depensa.

malabo yata yung chan for abueva scenario chief dld. ginebra needs a shooter and they got that in the person of chan. sabi ko nga earlier, masyado naman ambisyoso itong si compton. hinahanap si lebron o kaya si durant...binabangungot pa yata ito nyahahaha i guess we already have an upgrade in chan and sargent. let's see what happens.
