Wala tayo pantapat na lokal sa 6'10 and 330lbs na import ng ibang kalaban. This is a second time na ginawa nya ito sa team natin.it seems sasablay na naman this time. Hats off to semerad. Matindi talaga ang depensa nya kay JBL. Nasira sara ang laro. Na even FT ayaw na din pumasok kaya puro screen na lang ang ginagawa instead na sya ang maging number 1 sa set ng offense. Obviously, Racela did his homework in bringing in that kind of import to offset Cone's brilliance as a coach and maybe just maybe to stop Fajardo's moves at the post because Smith is bigger and heavier. NSD team tayo remember? last nights lost was unlikely, hindi si Smith or Castro or RDO ang tumalo satin - si SEMERAD (hindi tsamba yun, shooter talaga to nung NCAA days pa)We found a way to neutralize smith, kaso laging open sa kanto ang 3pt shot. Idagdag mo pa ang poor offensive execution, credit din to TNT defense, nalilimit ang pasahan dahil sa defense nila, di na tayo maka average ng 28assts per game tulad nung elims. Pabor na nga yung tawag sa kanila hindi pa nila na take advantage yung maagang penalty situation sa 4th quarter. Yung smith parang dalawa yung katumbas sa court kaya ang nangyayari laging may nalilibreng isa. Ok na yung simula pero mukhang napagod si brownlee sa huli. Quote Link to comment

I will still get jbl kahit na maliit sya... he had brought the gins to this stage... and i think, for this year pag hindi sya kinuha ng gins for this conference, hindi sya makukuha sa 3rd dahil ma lolock sya sa contract sa international league... Factor talaga si smith kaso if we analyze it deeper, defense failure ang nangyari and locals ang tumira talaga... g1 si castro, game 2 si pogoy and si semerad...at these were last minute plays... Si michael hackett with all his offensive and rebounding skills were defended well and i think 3rd place lang ang gins ng sya ang naging import... meaning there is a way to defend a hulking rebound demon reenforcement... Ang sa akin, defend smith 1 on 1, let him commit before double teaming... the guy has limited offensive skills, mabagal and madali mapagod... Until the fat lady sings... NSD agreed.. its not about the height.. JBL has proven TONS of times na hindi LIABILITY ang height niya vs BIG IMPORTS. Ang problema ay local support. Mainly ang depensa ni Japhet at Sol. 2 of our premiere defenders na medyo nawawala pa. CTC has already adjusted to Smith, the problem now is ball rotation defense dahil may nalilibre. Hindi si JBL ang may kasalanan kung bakit nalilibre si semerad. At tama ka dre, kung hindi nila kinuha si JBL ngayon, hindi sya makakalaro sa 3rd conference dahil sa contract niya overseas. Agent_mulder Posted June 14, 2017 Share Posted June 14, 2017 (edited) Mas maganda ang naging depensa nila ke Smith, what did Ginebra in, is yung pag sag off ni Brownlee off Semerad who managed to knock in his trey, ilang ulit natin nakita yun, pag nag sag off si Brownlee mapapasa ang bola ke Semerad, yung hesitatiom nila sa end. game also did them in, panira na yung ke JDV, pinasa pa ke Brownlee na deep inside the shaded area kaya supalpal ang inabot. Kaya pa yan, one game at a time, if there's a team that can do it, its Ginebra, if there's a coach who can, si Cone yun.
