MustangEco
brownlee playing with pulled hamstring.....too bad and bad timing Quote Link to comment
*kalel*
as much as we would like to see the gins win 100% of the time, they will of course loose some games... ang sa akin, better to loose early on, and then peak at the right time... i don't believe that they are lacking in height, meron lang siguro iba pang plano kaya di pa natin nakikita masyado yung 2 rookies nila... to me, breaks of the game yung nangyari last Saturday.. .it can happen to any team (e.g. crucial errors, cramps sa import)... 1 Quote Link to comment

photographer
Cone unconcerned over Brownlee's pedestrian debut, says import bound to recapture old formFrom: Gerry RamosApril 4, 2017, 04:00 pmGinebra import Justin Brownlee was held 12 points, four rebounds, and four assists in the loss to Phoenix - disappointing numbers for the man responsible for steering the Kings to the Governors Cup championship last season. PBA ImagesTIM Cone noted Barangay Ginebra’s 94-91 loss to Phoenix in Davao City over the weekend was its first loss in an out-of-town of game for a long time. But it’s not a cause for alarm. The league’s most popular ballclub seeks to bounce back from that heartbreaking loss to the Fuel Masters when it returns to action against GlobalPort in the PBA Commissioner's Cup.Like the Kings, the Batang Pier are also still winless with a 0-2 record.“It’s been a while since we lost out of town, so we’re very disappointed,” said Cone after the team’s practice on Tuesday. “But we don’t want to make too much of the first game.”A missing link in the loss to Phoenix was import Justin Brownlee who had 12 points, four rebounds, and four assists - disappointing numbers for the man responsible for steering the Kings to the Governors Cup championship last season. He shot 3-of-10 from the field.Cone though, is not about to come down hard on Brownlee, who he believes will get back to his top form once he settles down with the Kings.“We know Justin will get his bearings and put up big performances,” the Ginebra coach stressed. It is imperative for the moment, according to Cone, for the Kings to start registering the W’s beginning with their 7 p.m. match-up against the Batang Pier at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.“In the meantime, we have to look for as many early wins as we can, and not fall too far behind the leaders,” Cone said.Read more at http://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/news/ginebra-sets-aside-rare-out-of-town-loss-as-it-seeks-first-win-in-commissioners-cup-against-globalport-#WhGphAoDEobTes4D.99 Quote Link to comment

Wawa naman iyong tao. Bumawi naman siya kasi rebound at outlet pass agad nagawa niya. Halos sakalin nga siya ng coach niya nung timeout eh. Sigurado kantyaw na walang humpay ang inabot nun sa dugout. 1 Quote Link to comment
Hari ng Spakol
forgive my "bobo" word mga bro, out of frustration lang, i really wanted our team to win lalo na pag out of town games. sayang kasi, bihira sila matalo dito. Anyway, coaching and the training staff should give JBL enough rest every quarter, just to minimize again his cramps, sakit talaga ito ng import natin. The reason of Chris Ellis regarding his two missed dunks against Phoenix was due to his so so shoes. Quote Link to comment

Against sa tnt dati madulas daw yung ball, ngayon shoes naman haha. Sana matrade na talaga yan or huwag na ipasok sa laro Quote Link to comment
vkalbos
The key to keep on winning is to focus on defense because there is no so called "off night" on it. I would like to see BGK on low scoring because they are focusing on defensive end. Just my 2 cents. Quote Link to comment

RED2018
...But I think Globalport played badly (incl. Terrence and their NBA veteran import); and may bagong recruit na nag-stir ng kanilang coherence. May halong swerte pa ang BGK. This upcoming Manila Classico should be a better test for them Quote Link to comment

Barangay naman ang nakakuha ng good breaks sa last quarter. Quote Link to comment
