azraelmd
Not from Angeles but of Dennis Pineda of Lubao, Pampanga. He still has in his stable high schools 6'9" Baltazar who was judged Finals MVP sa UAAP Juniors Championship with N.U. at yuong isa almost 6'11" Pangalangan. Both ipapasok niya sa La Salle. Malamang may selfie stick yuong kumuha ng picture.................:-)Yup...malakas recruiting pool ng lasalle, along with 6'9" baltazar and 6'11" pangalangan, they also got gilas recruit a 6'7" fil-nigerian 16yo highly recommended by coach badwin...as in magaling daw talaga yun fil-nigerian... Yun kasamang bata sa selfie na si sotto, sa ateneo naman maglalaro along with the 6'10 na fil-aussie...sa that kid sotto plays sa junior NBA ata yun, kaso nde cya yun nagMVP kundi yun SG na puros fast break ang score dahil sa bigay ni sotto after he grabs the rebound hehehe..he is one of the most highly sought after na home grown talent natin ngayon, with decent outside shooting...tinuturuan ata ngayon ng mga low post moves...didnt know na gusto pala magpractice player sa ginebra din, malamang niyaya ni greg, malaking bagay kung maturuan ni CTC yun bata, kaso magwawala na naman si MVP nyan masusulot na naman player nya hehehe Edited November 2, 2016 by azraelmd 1 Quote Link to comment

I'm sure mag tripple double si Thompson nito kc sa kanya ang rebound palagi hahaha Quote Link to comment

daphne loves derby
Mark Caguioa signs new two-year contract with Barangay GinebraRead more at http://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/news/ginebra-mark-caguioa-two-year-contract-pba-champion-tim-cone#qp6hk0HuG2qXBHLv.99 BARANGAY Ginebra will still have 'Spark' in its lineup for the next two years.Mark Caguioa, for so many, many years served as the face of the franchise, agreed to renew his ties with the PBA's most popular ballclub by signing a fresh two-year contract. The deal meant the 36-year-old former league MVP would be back for a 16th straight season for the Kings, who he helped end an eight-year title drought recently by winning the season-ending Governors Cup. It was not a max deal Caguioa signed for the team though, but still close to the P420,000 salary a player can receive at the most per month.SPIN.ph sources said the Ginebra superstar has been signed up just before Sunday's 2016 Rookie Draft. Two other key players in that championship unit will be back for the team in the coming new season namely, big men Joe Devance and Dave Marcelo after signing separate new deals with the Kings. Devance, 34, whose fadeaway jumper in the final second of the Governors Cup finals against Meralco win it for Ginebra, 88-86, will be back for another season after agreeing to a P4.2 million contract, while Marcelo got a two-year pact amounting to P4.8 million.Read more at http://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/news/ginebra-mark-caguioa-two-year-contract-pba-champion-tim-cone#qp6hk0HuG2qXBHLv.99 Quote Link to comment

*kalel*
fr pba.ph As much as Tim Cone would have loved to build a second installment of “The Fast and The Furious,” the Barangay Ginebra coach said picking forward Kevin Ferrer over guard Jio Jalalon boiled down to addressing the Gin Kings’ needs.Fans clamored for a Jalalon team up with Scottie Thompson in what would be a young version of the team’s iconic tandem of Mark Caguioa and Jayjay Helterbrand, who are already nearing the end of their celebrated careers.“It becomes to us, ‘What do we do with [Jalalon]? What do we do when we play him with LA (Tenorio), Scottie, and Jayjay (Helterbrand)?’ We’re just overloaded,” Cone said Sunday during the 2016 PBA Rookie Draft at Robinsons Place Manila.“From a coaching standpoint, in terms of chemistry, you don’t want to overload the talent in one position. Then it becomes a competition between great players and you end up sitting your great players on the bench instead of having them on the floor,” he added. There’s no questioning Jalalon’s talent and potential, but Cone thinks adding the former Arellano University star just won’t make sense given that the Gin Kings already have a deep guard rotation with LA Tenorio, Sol Mercado, Thompson, Caguioa and Helterbrand.“So our fear with getting someone like Jalalon was he would have to share time with LA and Scottie and they all share time, and you got great players sitting on the bench and you don’t want to have that.”Still, that doesn’t discount Cone’s elation with the Gin Kings’ selection of Kevin Ferrer from the Gilas round as they addressed their urgent need in the wing position for a three-and-D forward.“I made it clear that that’s the guy we’re looking for. But I wasn’t sure we were going to get him, so when they called back to say we got him, I was very happy,” he said. “Ferrer really fills out a role for us, something we can see.”The two-time Grand Slam-winning mentor is also hoping that this rookie selection, especially with the Ferrer acquisition, would help Ginebra sustain its run at the top this upcoming PBA season.“We hope we can win some championship with him,” he said.
