Barangay Ginebra behemoth Greg Slaughter undergoes surgery to repair an ankle problem in the next few days, a procedure essentially ending all his activities in the current PBA season.

The 7-foot-1 Fil-Am player is not only missing a chance to play in the FIBA Olympic qualifying tourney but also the season-ending PBA Governors Cup.

Also going away with his knee operation is a shot at the coveted MVP award in the 2015-16 PBA season. Slaughter and fellow Cebuano behemoth JunMar Fajardo are in a neck-and-neck battle in the statistical points race through the mid-season Commissioner’s Cup.

Slaughter topped the stats derby in the Commissioner’s Cup and could’ve been the hands-down choice as the Best Player of the Conference had Ginebra made even just the Final Four. The Gin Kings, however, were swept aside by the eventual champs the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in their best-of-three quarterfinals faceoff. – The Philippine Star

Dude. Ginebra doesn't even have a practice man. Most of the players are on vacation. Even Coach Tim himself is in America.

Si LA and Japeth lang ang actively visible due to Gilas practice.

I think alam naman ng player ang true market value nila kaya impossible na humingi ng max contract lahat yan. If EVER, that's a big if, it happens; I think RoS is smart enough to prioritize their core players before their role players

100% sure di nila papakawalan si Slowter kahit slow pa sya.. ang tagal ng inasam ni Tim Cone na magkaroon ng Bigman and stat wise.. Slowter is slow but efficient..double double every game is not a joke at kung sa tingin nyo ay slow pa rin sya averaging these stats...I'm sure Tim Cone think of his potential rather than giving up. Basura nyo na yung Slowter trade nyo.. may injury lang sya kaya di makakapaglaro nxt conference...

 

ang nasa isip ko ngayon after this conference ay retirement ni MC47 and JH13..sobrang laki ng salary cap ng mga yan kaya possible na may makuha tayo sa RoS players na free agents..I heard Tautuaa is on trading block then and Starhot shot might be his team.. kaya marami pang mangyayari sa barangay for couple of months...Paul Lee beg off sa gilas (sabi injury daw) but I think gusto nya lang maging safe ang body nya kc nga free agent na sya para pwde makipag negotiate.

If we still have billy and jr,it will not be a problem. Japhet is too fragile to be the man in the middle. Pang sf talaga sya. Marcelo is too short to be the main center. Pag itrade c greg,ibundle na din si ellis para makakuha tayo ng mabigat na mga kapalit....gawing freebies si mark at jayjay hehe.

Only mabigat na kapalit for greg...si fajardo....or maybe tautuaa + rosario .....si ellis + mercado sa ibang package nlang...or maybe for a future top three first round draft pick.....

 

Kaso nakikinita ko lang na future franchise player talaga...si kobe paras.....kaya IMO for the meantime....wag na ibigay si greg....besides baka magbackfire at makalaban natin sya....
