Sir Galahad®
Kasi traffic na naman bukas galing sa trabaho, tapos puno pa mga hotel at mga motel, tapos ang mahal pa ng food, pati flowers mahal din hahahaha... sa Sabado (February 18) naka 50% off na lahat yan I wanna make earthquake jokes but I don't think it would be proper especially what happened in Surigao last weekend. 1 Quote Link to comment

Queen Darkeinjel
it's a common assumption that those who don't celebrate valentine's day are single, dateless, or bitter. (well, may be for some it is true) but, there are other reasons: 1. there are 365 days in a year and some people just know how to make their significant others feel special every single day and not just during a day that society dictates as one for love. 2. it is so commercialized. expensive red roses(or flowers in general), expensive "promo" menu. horrendous traffic, etc. 3. celebrate valentine's and next day, it's back to normal? it's just too funny that many make a deal of this day and then go back to their unromantic ways the next day. (where did the romance go? there's always the next valentine's day ) 4. some just have better priorities just some other reasons why people don't like valentine's. what would it rather be? a good year with your significant other enjoying life together or a day of commercialism and back to the good old ordinary days on the other 364? agentorange99
It probably reminds them of a bad memory or experience that they don't want to remember or go through anymore Quote Link to comment
franczbob
For privacy, other(s) won't bother to explore the crowds on V-day, they would rather celebrate in advance or the day after. Quote Link to comment
kenshinhimura
it's either they're bitter or they do have bad experience with valentines day. Quote Link to comment

Solaryan
hehe why hate something that at some point in your life, you also enjoyed or celebrated? Now, if you have never really enjoyed this day, then still, why hate it when you have the potential to also enjoy it with someone in the future? As for me, I never really celebrate it on the exact date, even when I was in a relationship.. I usually go for the day before or 2-3 days before. Para di kasabay ng lahat ng tao sa mga resto na kakainan or places na pupuntahan.. Quote Link to comment
Shaitan
Last weekend(tagaytay, her choice-treat nya) and next weekend(beach, my choice) ang celebration namin. Pero mamaya gabi chill lang sa house, simple dinner and WALKING DEAD new episode. I hate valentine's tho, hahaha! Such a stupid celebration. Pwede ko naman gawin lagi eto sa mahal ko. 1 Quote Link to comment
