HOWARD to NUGGETS: Time To Seek Out A Trade

 

 

Maybe he has seen enough. Time to move on a different direction?

 

According to league sources, Phillies 1B Ryan Howard is not yet on the trade block from team Nuggets, but is fascinated with the idea of playing somewhere else.

 

"Well, pag-iisipan natin yan. Sayang kasi yung marketing value nya (Subway sandwich ads, etc.)" quipped GM Cali.

 

The intriguing thing is that he's the guy team UncCholi is so enamored with. They're rumored to offer 1B Adrian Gonzalez (and to quote "and then some") for the Philly slugger. Gonzalez, meanwhile, is sought after by a lot of GM's, including the CF-loaded G-Goners, who mentioned Shaaaaaane Vic as one of the chips.. and the Ju-Moe Smashers who tried to offer Justin Morneau... and a Hooters treat.

 

In other news, Snitch Devil 24 has acquired Jayson Werth from team Texas for Neftali Feliz; pending league approval. The latter is now working double-time to get the last piece of the Rangers pitching crew. Nolan Ryan is said to join the team at some point.
