Jongkers
Uy, Aumont! :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment
denimhead
that Halladay deal sounded better yesterday .... now i find out Phils get Halladay, Aumont and OF Tyson Gillies and a player to be named later .. and 6 mill in cash Bluejays get Kyle Draybek, Michael Taylor and Travis d'Arnaud ( from Seattle) Seattle gets Cliff Lee that Draybek loss is somewhat of a downer for me ... but Aumont is good too .. only real plus for the Phillies is they get to lock up Halladay long term as compared to Lee who wanted to get Sabbathia money Quote Link to comment
bubuy
they couldve gotten 2 draft picks if they lost lee to free agency anyway.. if they really wanted another solid solid run, they shouldve gambled on keeping lee, imho.. had they kept lee for 2010, the rotation wouldve been halladay, lee, hamels.. or lee (LHP), halladay (RHP), hamels (LHP).. btw, the PTBNL is juan ramirez from FanGraphs: The Cliff Lee to Seattle portion of this trade just seems very light in return for the Phillies. They’re getting two power arms with a lot of questions marks and a speedy center fielder without a lot of power. None of these guys are top tier prospects. This is the best Philadelphia could have gotten for Lee? Really? A pu-pu platter of interesting, high-risk guys not really close to the majors for a Cy Young quality pitcher who is already well on his way to Type A free agency? bubuy
as soon as deal is done, blue jays are going to trade michael taylor to A's for brett wallace Quote Link to comment
denimhead
good read .. i agree with shopping Blanton .. to free cap space so they can keep Lee as of now everything out there is not official yet ... so maybe some things will change Quote Link to comment

BTW: Everyone in my team is available except Fat Fielder and Ethier.Yes, even Hanley and Aramis can be acquired for the right price. My pitching staff isn't shabby either: Peavy, Lackey, Cain, Sanchez and Morrow.Plus closers Marmol, Wagner and Jim Johnson. (Demmit, why did I lose with these crew?Oh, yeah, I held on too long to Coco, Burrell and Bradley. :thumbsdownsmiley: ) I'm just looking for outfielders. Or more picks.
