consiglieri
and it sure looks like it... this is turning out to be... The New Boston Massacre Jun 17 Ortiz had the hard cast removed from his left wrist on Monday and has been cleared to begin range-of-motion exercises, the Boston Herald reports. Recommendation: The pain in the wrist has subsided, indicating the torn tendon sheath is healing well, so it looks like Ortiz will avoid season-ending surgery at this point. Continued pain in the area would be an indication that significant healing was not taking place. ****crossing these goddamn fingers***** Edited June 18, 2008 by consiglieri Quote Link to comment

Jongkers
But I would have preferred to see them get their rings wearing any other uniform.Especially not at the expense of the Lakers.         Quote Link to comment

Jongkers
True. There simply was no LA defense since Game 1 and the leprechauns defended very well since the season's Day One.The better team won today. Congrats to the Celts.Still...... *%$#@&!         Quote Link to comment
gift_of_game
I still don't know how they got away with their physical brand of D under the new rules but they won with it and that's all that matters. (trying not to raise an eyebrow) Quote Link to comment

(trying not to raise an eyebrow) That's what works in the East: choking, physical defense. Remember Riley's Knicks, AI's 76ers, the 2006 Heat, the Pistons, and Jordan's Bulls? The only possible exception was Kidd's Nets who won through fluid offense which, not coincidentally, was coached by Byron Scott who was trained largely in the West. gwapogi
stern at his finest... and well, if this went game 7 btw, it would've definetely been controversial, to say the least... heck, im an LA fan ever since the "magic" days, but with a lousy offense like that, and an even lousier D, they didn't deserve the title... not a bit... bubuy
stern was booed by the boston crowd.. hehehe.. just goes to show that even the boston fans think stern is pro-LA, as evidenced by his lakers vs lakers dream finals.. :upside: Quote Link to comment
