bubuy
the FPJ thing is so overrated right now. Quote Link to comment
denimhead
it kinda is but i find the difft ways of promoting "fpj" very amusing Quote Link to comment
bubuy
nah, what i meant was it kinda "overused" everything anyone does is labeled as FPJ.. something like that Quote Link to comment

bubuy
how can you not love fantasy baseball, you can have all the best players and still not be able to win? although it also holds true for some real MLB teams.. Quote Link to comment
gift_of_game
<---wondering if consig will bite on nicky mark now, hehe Quote Link to comment
kingsville
and look, i dont have any players from the top10, or even top20 w/ the present Rank. convincing nga ah; you just cant win with all good players..for some reason, nasa GM pa talaga ang patutunguhan ng team.. Quote Link to comment
gift_of_game
^luck and match-ups...for such a streaky sport to begin with, there's a considerable amount of luck involved.and even if your name-brand guys are delivering as expected, if the other team's guys are producing at the same clip, it tends to get dicey. what I've noticed over the past few though since we started playing is that one guy going absolute freakin' bananas (H-Day in 2006, Man-Ram last year) is more than enough to carry a team. gift_of_game
by team you mean a fantasy team or a real team? mmm...initially just the fantasy team though there are situations when it seemed to apply to both e.g. ManRam's apeshit performance after the deadline last year propelled the Dodgers to the playoffs (not surprisingly, they dropped like flies in the opening series when he went a bit flat); H-Day's country-strong performance coincided with Colorado's improbable World Series run Edited April 25, 2009 by gift_of_game Quote Link to comment
