The insurance is in dollars (times 48 agad ang settlement amount bro). When something happens to these seafarers (get sick, injured or God forbid, die) in the line of work , they become entitled to the insurance. Its a niche practice that some ambulance-chasing lawyers have started to exploit. A 6-digit settlement is par for the course in these cases.
