consiglieri
baka nafufrustrate na ang indians...they perhaps have good pitching scouts/coaches...pero after that ALCS against the sox 2 years ago....medyo minalas sila...theyre thinking of building it up again instead of coughing up some dough... biggest regret pa din for me is the red sox letting go of hanley (just read the faithful book - he was on his way already...) but hey, it won them another WS...theyre dealing though with that bum hip of lowell... Wolf
Beckett was more of the center piece there, not much on Lowell. Quote Link to comment
denimhead
The org is stupid.Who trades away Cy Young awardees every year anyway?! :thumbsdownsmiley: cleveland traded colon to the expos for prospects .. prospects were sizemore, lee and 1 more ... not a bad trade considering where colon is now .. and how sizemore is good and can still get better Quote Link to comment
consiglieri
oh i clearly remember that trade (that theo supposedly didnt make) i was joking with an officemate that we were gonna get beckett (wasnt even reading rumors) i just wanted becketts because he was the game 7 pitcher of the marlins and a yankee killer a week after...the sox just did...and with the yanks getting crazy carl pavano Quote Link to comment

Jongkers
sa mafia wars lang mga bonuses na yan So, hindi na naman ba matatahimik ang RSN? RSN will always be RSN. Actually, if the Papi news is true, I won't be surprised.103 names is just too many. And the wrist injury was too symptomatic of roid use. Funny, but I just started Papi's biography the other night. gift_of_game
yung wrist injury niya, pwedeng oo, pwede rin namang hindi. a few baseball geeks, Bill Simmons included, have pointed out the more glaring bump in power numbers he had once he got to Boston. take note, he never hit more than 20 long balls in Minny's dome...in the next 5 years at Fenway? 31-41-47-54-35 Edited July 31, 2009 by gift_of_game Quote Link to comment
