Jongkers Posted April 14, 2009 Share Posted April 14, 2009 Err.... The deal I made with cal was in direct relation to my picking up Andrus. Our first tentative deal kasi was Furcal-Burnett. When Andrus became available and cal and I had the 1st and 2nd waiver priority, respectively, I inquired from him if he's getting Andrus. Because if he were, I'd push through with the Furcal trade since I badly needed a shortstop. Since he said he's not interested with Andrus (like he'd need three shortstops), I made my waiver claim on Andrus and went after Ichiro instead. What I'm saying is, it's not only my claim on Andrus that's involved here. Pati si cal and his Fowler plan will be affected. It can't be reversed anymore. Sorry, Snitchy. Quote Link to comment
