Any chance Marc Gasol is gonna be as good as if not better than his brother? I heard that he is the Spanish League MVP. If Marc Gasol is gonna be any good in the NBA, I think Memphis could really end up liking that deal. They got stymied though in their attempt to get Josh Smith from the Hawks but they got cash to spend and until they get another bigtime guy for the money they saved from trading Pau and shedding off Kwame's contract, I dont think that deal should be judged just yet :zorro:

and oh, re: the Tex trade, the Angels had it easy because this was more of a Tex "rental" than a "purchase" as his contract is up at the end of the season.

the chips involved were matched more to his value in the next few months rather than the next few years.
