SM Dry, Lights, Draft or Pale Pilsen for local, I'd go for Tsingdao, Heineken or Carlsberg for imported beers

I met a british guy who fancies himself a beer aficionado. He claims that he'll go from pub to pub to sample different beers across UK.

This is his opinion:

 

First. He thinks San Mig pale pilsen is good. It is perfectly appropriate for our weather, it has the type of flavor which you'd want to drink at the end of hot day.

Second. San Mig light tastes like crap

^ SMB Lights is not totally "crap" for me but below average as far as taste. There are worse-tasting beer. Can't argue with its success though. Lights has taken over as far as sales. Everywhere I go it's what everyone is drinking. Its frustrating when that's all they have and I want something else.

I forgot to mention, the british beer guy I met also noted that Cerveza Negra is not bad, but thought SMB Pale pilsen is the winner among the local beers he tasted

Super Dry is the best for me. Nothing beats it, not even Light.
