i am not sure if this is even considered a valid genre in music as most of the songs can be classified into RNB or love songs...these songs were very popular during my HS and college years (early 2000) and were usually played at proms, or just utilized as a soundtrack to a romantic date...think QUIET STORM of 89.1 or SUNDAY SLOWDOWN of 89.9...

 

i must admit, i am not that updated anymore when it comes to music so i started this thread hoping that some of the posters here can suggest newer songs that belong to this genre...anyway, here are some of the artists who popularized Slow Jams...
