okey_lang2
the bigger the bike the more stable it become. of course your riding skills play a huge factor too. what i love about bikes is the beauty of its engineering. its useless to build a bike that cannot be handled by human.ex. 2006 up suzuki gsxr it has 3 throttle position selection a, b , c a for sports and maximum hp. and the later 2 selections is lower. and at the end of the day you are the master of your own throttle pag alam mong hindi mo kaya wag kang magpadala. if you want a brand new 400cc bike go to pipoy of caloocan sales. pwede ka mag order, pero be mindful sa tax ahh para kang bumili narin ng isa pang motor Quote Link to comment

Guest Leviticus
Just try never to do anything you're not comfortable doing. Riding with a group whose riding style you're comfortable with is a good idea.err.. try but never me I learned the hard way on riding.. by myself. I can say with all honesty that I really learned how to ride a motorcycle in the three highways going up and down baguio: kenon, marcos, and naguillan. damn.. sa naguillan road ako napatigil nung paakyat dahil nasusuka na ako sa dami ng upward turns. hehe.. I remember even asking here how to approach corners since feeling ko titilapon ako when I turn a big sharp corner. tumindig ang balahibo ko the first time I felt that I was going to tip over. metro manila city riding is a piece of cake compared to mountain riding. If you think riding to and from baguio is interesting, try going up to mt. data, which is about a 3 to 3.5 hour ride from baguio. Nice twists and turns, up and down, all the way. Once did it in the dark and rain. Would love to compare notes. Quote Link to comment

Short ride. And if you were going at 5 kph on your sub-400 bike, that shouldn't be too hard Do try mt. data sometime. Longer ride than la union-baguio, but i'm sure you'll find it interesting. Try it on a harley if you get the chance. Great ride. Quote Link to comment

D mo masabi maaring may makasalubong kang lasing na driver or nawalan ng preno. Riding a bike is always on a learning stage, even the pro rider that you see on television needs to learn and practice a lot but still they encounter accident. Before im with my 8 friends from marikina and two of them are competing in BRC so you should probably know na they are knowledgeable sa curves but still we comitted an error at nag patong patong kme sa cyclone wire ng Bataan Nuclear Power Plant (while turning on the other curve kasi meron kame nakita na kano having $ex sa isang girl dun sa may curve out in broad daylight kaya lahat kme napatingin kaya ayun arayyy) Quote Link to comment

Guest Leviticus
yesterday gamit ko ang kenbo while my brother borrowed my scooter dahil may dala na mga gamit and kasama ang girlfriend on their way to a Tesda training. masarap sa pwet ang scooter ko kasi compared to the sportsbike, may sandalan pa. anyway, on their way to tesda may nakasabay sila na nakascooter rin (the small type yung mga 70 cc or below two-stroke). the rider was weaving wildly.. naglalaro sa provincial road. this was in the morning hours and sila lang ang nasa daan. the other rider made movement to turn left, and was in the middle of the oncoming lane already so my brother decided to pass him. eh yung tarantado biglang nagright pabalik sa right lane. busina ng todo ang kapatid ko (PEEEEEEEEEEET!). ayun.. no choice binanga na ang side ng maliit na scooter. they were traveling about 30-35 (raw) but the impact was enough to disalign the front and headlights and shattered the bolts holding the fiberglass body; ganun sapul sa kabilang rider as in head-on ang banga. buti my brother had the presence of mind to brake or else he would have plowed through the b@stard, but semplang sila ng gf nya partially. nothing broken, no scrapes, no bumps (sa awa ng diyos.. looks like my guardian angels ride with my scooter). ang nakakabwisit.. the other rider DROVE OFF a few meters and entered his house AND NEVER CAME OUT. looks like a minor or binata raw so sure walang lisensya and the scooter he was on had no platenumber; most likely smuggled yun. yung mga usi takbuhan sa kapatid ko and gf nya na semplang. unang hirit ng mga gago ay "AREGLO! AREGLO!" pakingshet.. areglo ang unang nasa ulo imbes na tulungan tumayo. kinuha nila agad ang susi ng scooter but sagot ng kapatid ko went something like "teka teka.. hindi nyo alam ang nangyari" and described how the other rider was playing on the street and the circumstance. binalik rin ang susi after hearing. alam nila na walang laban since binata pa. this whole episode was described by my brother's gf. mamaya pupunta kami sa presinto para blotter. we have witnesses naman and WE KNOW WHERE THE F@CKER LIVES. the moral of the story: always drive/ride defensively. buti walang sakit ng katawan ang kapatid ko and his gf but pakingshet.. sakit ng ulo ang binigay ng bwisit na rider na yun. but my scooter.. huhuhu..   basag and disaligned ang harap Quote Link to comment
