johncharles
^^is it okay if i use this Mobil 1 fully synthetic on an old school vehicle like Mitsubishi Lancer boxtype?thanks if the car has reached over 90,000 kms, avoid using 0w-5w lubes since the thinner viscosity of these oils has a much higher probability of causing leaks through worn out sealants of older engines.  10w - 20w synthetic oils is what I would recommend for this scenario. 1 Quote Link to comment
turboneticssx8
Synthetic oil lang pero every 5,000 kms. or 4 to 5 months. Mas okay ang frequent oil change para sa akin para parating fresh. Quote Link to comment

lowrider1978
Pinakamaganda fully synthetic. Wait for the 0W-20 low viscosity engine oil. Quote Link to comment
MTBCommuter
I use Castrol GTX for our car. keeps the engine running smooth Quote Link to comment

jasondy
Please also note that all engines require a recommended viscosity range. Check your car's manual to be sure. To add na rin, despite the 7500-10000km oil change for synthetics, this is recommended for other countries. With the kind of environment we have here in Manila, its safe to replace them earlier than the recommended interval. Â During my last oii change using Petron 20W40 mineral oil was already dirty at about 3500kms (about 4 months). Quote Link to comment

MagicMass
I personally like shell motor oils. But its i think its not so much the brand thats important, but make sure you change oil when needed. You may have to overhaul your engine if you don't. Quote Link to comment
