chrispt21
Passion! Would you rather be happy with no luxuries or sad with tons of luxuries? Quote Link to comment
SaintPeter5858
If you have more money like, let's say Bill Gates or warren Buffet or Henry Sy, it would be much easier to turn your attention to what caters your imagination and that's your passion. But for some start-up businessmen, it would be wiser to get into what can bring more goods to your coffer. Quote Link to comment

FairyWanderlust
Some people are fortunate to have found both happiness and a lucrative income in their job. Unfortunately, it doesn't happen to all of us. Whether you are single or married, young or old, you will have responsibilities (aka bills and expenses). It will never ever go away. You will always need food and shelter (the most basic of needs) and these will require money. In the ideal world, we'd all be doing what we love for a living - but we do not live in an ideal world. Who says you cant have both? Take the road 1 for practical measures. Let this "road 1" fulfill your intellectual and monetary needs. Experience what the corporate world has to offer. You say you are only 23 - who knows, what you do for a living may eventually be one that makes you feel alive, diba? And then carve some time out of your schedule to pursue "road 2". Do it on the weekends, after work. If it gives you satisfaction and excites you, then you should do everything you can to make it happen. As they say, "pag gusto, may paraan. pag ayaw, maraming dahilan." Remember that at the end of the day, the restrictions we have on ourselves are restrictions we put on ourselves. kimkinnison
it's been 5 years since the OP posted, but: I choose passion. After several long years working in a soul-crushing grind, it is refreshing to work for what you believe in. There will be challenges and no guarantee of success but you will truly feel alive and in control. Quote Link to comment
